@johnnymarone – Correct result but I have no idea how the judges scored the fight (119-109??).

Teofimo displayed huge skill plus he was patient. Loma was too slow to get started in the first four or five rounds, this allowed Teofimo to bully Loma with his heavy punches and bigger build. I think Loma was concerned about Teofimo’s K.O punching power and maybe Loma is just a bit too small at this weight. The 12th round decided the result.

All IMO of course. Full fight is available on Youtube.

OP – I’d consider if upping your budget a little is possible and look at getting a Cayman/Boxster 4.0 GTS. You won’t be disappointed.

OP – Fair play to you for putting your money into the economy. I understand peoples dismay at your budget but cars can be expensive and it is your money.

I’d be tempted by a VW Golf Clubsport.

I found Zamberlan boots were very comfy straight out of the box, although obviously it is dependant on foot shape. They work well and take a fair bit of abuse. I’m looking at some Inov8 Roclite G’s as a lighter pair of walking/approach trainers once they are back in stock.

I would think it has been announced as a consideration to see how it is received by the electorate and press. If it appears a vote winner, then expect to see it happen.

OP – you say the alleged miscreant has “allegedly” been tested positive for CV-19, could you explain how you came about this piece of information?

I see that Mark Francois, of the tory headbangers cult, the ERG has been quietly removed from his post of Leader. Does anyone know of any reason why?

I’d take a look at the Isle of Purbeck.

I think accommodation might be tricky at short notice. It’s easy to avoid the crowds, I’ve recently spent the day on an ‘out the way’ beach and saw no more than a dozen people. Coastal walks are plentiful and many inlands walks are available too. The Clavell Cafe at Kimmeridge does very good food and I am told Shell Bay restaurant is worth a visit.

A couple of likely places to stay on Airbnb – https://www.airbnb.co.uk/s/Isle-of-Purbeck/homes?checkin=2020-08-25&checkout=2020-08-28&adults=2&children=0&landing_page_section=MARQUEE

Or you could try phoning the Kingston Country Courtyard to see what they have. There are plenty of campsites too.

    I recently used this lot – https://www.underlay-direct.uk

Very competitive at the time, quick delivery and they picked up the phone allowing me to speak to an actual real person. I had a feeling that they did push their own ‘brand’ but there’s enough info there to make an informed choice. I’m happy enough with the Cloud 9 + Pure Seduction products I did buy and both went down onto T&G flooring. Some incredibly silly names for underlay products.

Though I was baffled why the cop faced no criminal action after beating a man and throwing him from a window.

I was initially baffled by this but then as the story continued I thought that the offer of the orange juice by Red symbolised forgiveness.

I too watched it over the weekend. I thought it was a marvellous film and enjoyed it immensely. Complex characters and a complex storyline, my kind of thing! I thought the ending was not the usual kind of Hollywood ending but it made me think about the film and that is a good thing IMO. I felt that the film ran out of time a little towards the end but didn’t ruin it.

Regarding the story, I understand it is loosely based on a true story. The film suggested (to me) the chief suspect was not the obvious choice (I won’t name who I thought the murderer is so others can enjoy the film). The performances by Frances McDormand and Sam Rockwell were immense and the Rockwell character was very enjoyable.

    9/10 from me.

I have recently finished decorating my entire house and the best advice I could give is find your local trade centre and get friendly with the knowledgable staff in there. In my local Brewers the folk behind the counter really know their stuff and they have helped me save money and get the results I wanted. I used Little Greene ($$$) products for the important rooms, Dulux Diamond paint ($$) for the high traffic areas and good quality trade paint ($) for everywhere else. Farrow & Ball ($$$$) is very expensive but it is nice.

    Another vote for rescue dogs.

Lots and lots of puppies about right now and prices have gone through the roof. A friend has advertised puppies form her dog, £3k each for a mongrel and waiting scan results. She has 50+ enquiries already, madness!

I expect dog shelters to be inundated with dogs over the next 12 months and they will need all the help the can get. Puppies are very hard work as already mentioned.

Dogs aren’t necessarily given up due to behavioural issues. Family circumstances change, owners die, costs etc all result in dogs needing new homes.

The break up scene from ‘Blue is the Warmest Colour’.

It left me utterly exhausted, as did the entire film.

Shouldn’t need to bolt the shed down to get the doors level IME.

Photo’s would help but I suspect that the sides aren’t plumb and therefore the door opening isn’t square, this will result in your doors being at different heights. Open the doors and accurately measure the aperture corner to corner, this is a more accurate way of checking than using a level. This will tell you if the opening is out of square/not plumb.

If the base is level and assuming your spirit level is true, then the sides of the shed are probably out of plumb and might need pushing over to square things up. Can you place shims between the house & shed?

Additionally, have you put your bikes and stuff in the shed yet? Once your shed is full of gear it might change how it is presently sitting.

I had a Nest thermostat fitted at the end of last year and experienced similar problems as you and it drove me bonkers!!! However, after I turned off the ECO mode (learning), the Nest thermostat has very worked well ever since.

Make sure you do a big enough silicone bead that allows for expansion and contraction, the manufacturer should indicate the minimum size – width x depth. Not all silicones are created equal either and I’d make sure I was using a good quality product like Arbo (12 year guarantee I believe).

Magpies used to rule the roost around here for years, decimating the local blackbirds, thrushes, sparrows etc. and then the crows moved in. The crows put the Magpies in their place and the crows don’t seem to target the small birds in the same way the Magpies did. Nature is wonderful if a bit brutal at times.

That is a truly lovely photo.

Be happy with the knowledge that you gave him a happy, loving home and he reciprocated that love back. Your wonderful photo shows a calm, happy and relaxed dog, what more could a dog owner ask for!

Could it be linked to your dog getting a little older and the warmer weather? My 9 year old (very active) dog changes his behaviour a bit with the onset of the warmer weather.

I would look to fit a replacement mullion from the inside and cutting a simple tenon joint to help with retaining frame strength and supporting the weight of the window.

Having spent couple of years living in Germany although many years ago, I think the German people are more disciplined. This allows for a more centralised goal for the entire population to aim for and less of the ‘personal gain first’ mentality seen in the populations of other countries.

This national discipline can be seen in many facets of everyday life in Germany. In the current CV health emergency Germany appears to be managing risk well with a compliant population. In business they seem to have a look term view and the entire workforce buy into that. Heck, even in sport they excel in area’s where discipline is key to success. I’m sure it isn’t as simple as just a little bit of extra discipline but it does go a long way IMO.

OP – If you use silicone (recommended) then make sure the bead is at least 6mm thick. This will prevent the silicone from cracking with changes in temperature and gives enough product to allow flexibility.

I would go for a silicone seal using Arbo XL 1099 and relevant primer. Be careful with the primer as it can stain the stone.

    Arbosil XL 1099

I would avoid Compriband tape unless the structure around the window and window profile is flat and parallel. Compriband works by compression and it doesn’t fill gaps in the same way silicone does.

From the rest of that article.

The virus can’t survive for long outside a human host, so it buys them time until a vac is/if produced. The Chinese are screening all arrivals at the airport for the virus.
