Just think how many free Reverbs they give out Speeder

If that’s the riding style to asprire to then no wonder our trails get ruined so fast.

Try sprouting them in some soaked kitchen roll indoors to save possibly wasted time planting? 10 seconds work, give them a few days/weeks and see if anything happens.

Haha I was just about to list our rolling chassis deal but someone beat me to it!

Also available as a frame + fork or frame + wheelset package at 10% off both or a frame only at £1400.

Last of the £1400 frames, so really you are saving £100!

Add a Hope headset for £59 etc etc :D

We still have one more kit of free bar/stem/saddle to go with Ragley frames.
Got three Bigwigs in stock but only one kit, so once one more sells the offer gets taken down.

If you already have parts just sell these and end up with a cheap frame :D

The Zealous is also really nice this year, lower standover and more tyre clearance, colours look great too.

For XC WTB don’t do anything really, good as they are at more agressive stuff.

I got sick of splitting Nobby Nics all the time and was looking for something faster. Ended up trying Onza Canis, in the 60tpi skinwall. They have been ace so far, like a more aggressive Racing Ralph, but a bit stronger in the sidewalls, and with a better tubeless fit.

Sorry, ‘four corners + an out and back’

If I got to plan events, no one would enter them

Word on the street is the theme is ‘four corners’ so there are going to be stages at GT, Cademuir, Inners and the golfy. Supposed to be 60K+ so bring yer climbing legs

I just got one of these delivered in my shop and really impressed:

Orbea Avant

Full carbon (lovely frame – £1500 RRP), fully hydraulic discs, 11spd 105. £1900

A few versions up to £3199 for the posh one with Di2 n that. If they did the same thing but as a CX/Adventure type thing I would already have one, but don’t like sharing my rides with cars :D

6mm Internal Insulation Tube

That’s the kind of stuff we use at pedals. The issue with shrink wrapping your cables, together or otherwise, is that it’s going to be a real pain when you have to change. With this you can swap cables very quickly.

Slow market? Both the houses we were looking at in Fife went within a week of listing, I am assuming above the ‘offers over’ price.

Perhaps it’s a rush to purchase before the LBTT rises.

You can certainly learn to live with it at 175, I am only 5ft 9 anyway so 170s fit me better regardless. Plus I ‘pedal through everything to use my fittness to keep speed up instead of skill’

And that’s why you should never do a skills day with someone you know :D

Glad you like it! They are ace fun. I would say take another look at 170mm cranks though, even if you are tall enough for 175s then the lack of strikes is worth it.

For anyone looking these are going to be very thin on the ground until April, we have a few mediums left (including black) but nothing bigger until the next delivery.

I have been looking at the Orbea Occam AM as a sort of carbon-scout-alike while they hurry up and make the real thing..

I would say we don’t have any Mmmbops just now, there is supposed to be a couple of large ones in the offer but they are delayed for a few more weeks. Couple of Marleys though, the green one like Scotroutes is one of the nicest looking frames around, especially for £250!

Ragley Bigwig is 120/130/140, 65deg static at 130 so 65.5 at 120mm.

How long are you aiming for?

Only OEM, but all other 650b Pikes can be converted so just pick up whatever travel is available + an air shaft.

How old are your 34’s? Put a FIT4 damper in them and they would be a much better fork for less than a whole new one.

The FF29 doesn’t really exist any more, only a couple of smalls left in stock. Sad times indeed.

I would say a spiritual successor would be the Zealous Division MK2, I think the new version looks stunning and would be an amazing ‘FF29-a-like’

We could look at doing one of those with the Ragley kit bundle if you were interested.

Awesome! Hope you like it.

You can also fit 27.5×3.0 in a Blue Pig, if you were to adjust for fork length to bring the bb back down, and 27.5×2.8 in an Mmmbop, but the three finger bridge hits the nobs on a full 3″

We have been putting B+ tyres in lots of frames :D

It applies to a bunch of other frames as well – Blue Pigs, Bigwigs and Marleys all up for grabs. Mmmbops in a few weeks.

What he says. Steel frames are heavy now, mostly. The lightest I can think of without going ‘expensive’ is the 2016 NS Eccentric at 2.5kg I think.

Just get a Ragley Marley, 2kg, very well made for the cash. £250 frame and we are running an offer to get a free bar/stem/saddle combo worth £125 just now. Goes up on our facebook and web shop later today, just after this coffee…. zzz…. Pedals Bike Care

Plenty of room in the back of a Patrol for an ARC30 – I have them in my carbon, sold them with lots of frame packages and it comes standard on the Build 1. Great rims as well!

And now should be in stock everywhere.

I have one! It’s ace.

Pedals Bike Care Carbon Patrol

Admittedly I have a vested interest in them, but I have ridden and owned an awful lot of bikes, and we are dealers for Banshee and Yeti as well as TR, and this is what I have.

It’s the first small wheeled bike I have owned in about four years, and also the first with over 140mm forks since my 2008 Spicy, but in this time I have tested every bike we had as a demo, so Smugglers, Spitfires, Scouts, Phantoms, SB5c, SB6c etc.

It comes up very well against all of them, builds up into a very light (mine is 28lbs with Vaults/bottle cage/mudguard), but very stable bike. Still manages to be nice and agile as well. In fact, take the Bible of Bike Patrol review and everything they say is pretty spot on, then when they say it would be nice in carbon, well, this is it and it is.

Bible of Bike – Patrol

If you can get anywhere near Edinburgh and fit a medium we have a demo bike built and ready to go, find out for yourself.

It’s ‘because it needs to be bigger to take the thru axle’

Uhuh, like the drive side? And thr front? A designer/engineer please tell me what I am missing.

Great wheels in every other way though.

My mums fridge has been in the house since they moved in 28 years ago, and is built into the kitchen so I assume it was there from the start, adding 10 years ish onto that. So yeah, a 38 year old fridge.

Haha I think that just about sums it up!

My Patrol Carbon is ace, the Scout will be a hoot.

Mon the Smuggler Carbon! If I keep pretending it exists they will make it… perhaps.

I took it to mean 29/27+ and 26×4.0 might squeeze in if you are lucky, and you drop the travel to correct axle to crown.

Not had a chance to test it though, but seen a picture of a Yari boost with 27.5×3.0 and the side clearance looked massive.

The specs for the non boost just list 29 I think. And yes I am aware they give weights for diffirent wheelsizes, as they make diffirent forks for them, but ALSO Boost ones that fit lots of wide stuff.
