Semi related question – were there any country team sponsors? Just noticed looking through all the pics that the Swiss riders were on DT-Swiss forks which made me think more – did you have teams with different bikes depending on personal sponsor, or were they all on team bikes? If they were on team bikes then that must have taken a bit of getting used to after racing on your sponsors bike?

I found general de-hydration was causing me headaches – especially if I went out in the morning. I was drinking plenty during a ride but found that ensuring I drank plenty before riding has stopped me getting headaches after rides.

Yep I’d go with FB – we use one over here in Jersey – pretty much the only thing I use it for..

Whats with the slo-mo coverage? Or is it just my BBC Player being screwy?

Never had the DT Swiss but i had the Pace RC41 fighters which were the ancestors to the DT Swiss, with Launch Control and I really rated it, very quick to lower the front end for climbs and roads, easy to revert back to full travel.. If I saw a set of EXC150’s or similar I’d be hard pushed not to get them!

I asked the distributor a few weeks ago about the 150 a- it’ll be available mid August but there’s already a waiting list. The 27.2 will be available a few weeks after that so September..

+1 for the Ibis Mojo Special Blend – managed to get mine down to around 26lbs without compromising too much strength and it only cost another £200 on top of the Special Blend..

Do you have an unlimited data with your Android? Yes – then just tether it (provided your Android can make itself a wifi hotspot)

Apps – depends on your needs? Games? Productivity? RedBull TV has an app which is good for watching the UCI amongst others, Tapatalk is useful for some forums, although with the iPad its not as necessary, Dropbox if you use it anyway, eBay, iMDB app are a couple of fairly generic apps that I use…

Best tablet on the market? Maybe, but as I said in another Android vs Apple thread – do you want to pick it up and just use it – then iOS is hard to beat… Do you want to spend ages playing with different apps to customise it as much as possible? Then Android is what you want.. (unless you jailbreak but thats a whole other story..)

I’ve just got an i5 with 8GB RAM – it happily runs a Win 7 VM and an XP vm simultaneously as well as running Outlook, Mail, Safari, OmniGraffle, ARD & Acrobat… Best system I’ve ever used!

    MAC Address…

That would only show the ISP the router’s MAC address, not the laptops. Its possible (although a very slight possibility) that if the router is the ISP’s then it might be able to log MAC address from local DHCP leases but if the router has been changed from the ISP provided one then they won’t even have access to those.

Pretty much echo’d above – weather has really picked up here last few days.. PLenty of good beaches – busy ones and quiet ones.

If you need any info drop me an email – been living here for 2 years but have had family here for as long as I can remember.. :D

What will be interesting is how many people own up to it… A very simple defense would be that you do not have your wireless protected and therefore there is no way to know who did download the “Work”… Love to see how they handle that one..

Funnily enough I have/had 4 iPhone 4s in our household – none of them suffered from the death grip adversely – sure if you held them as tight as you can in both hands the signal would drop – but which phone doesn’t, and do you really make calls like that?

I’ve been asked a few times about android or apple, I look after an Apple office, we’ve got MacBook Air’s, servers, iPads and iPhones, I have an iPhone 4 & an Android (Xperia S) and my answer to those questions is this.. Do you want to take it out of the box and just use it without playing around trying lots of different apps to find one that does work, but only get to 95% of what you want? Then get an Apple device… If you’re happy to waste days tweeking and testing but want it exactly how you want then Android…

I’m using the Xperia S mainly these days but only becuase of the bigger display – 4″ iPhone 5 will see me back to Apple.

We were using dropbox teams for a short period, found that we were getting a lot of conflicted copies even when no-one had edited them… As an aside it seems to screw around with file permissions if you combine dropbox with file sharing on an OSX server.

Did Le Havre to Marbella once in a 2.0 golf estate only stopping for petrol – about 1225 miles or so, took about 19 hours or so, felt fine whilst driving but once I got to marbella I was out like a light after 3 minutes sat on a sofa!

Regularly do Saint Malo to Puylagarde in France – 497 miles – which is far better than when I was living in Marbella – 983 miles..

Its funny now living Jersey when people complain about driving to the other side of the island!

If you’re interested in a large c456 a mate of mine is selling on – he bought a large by mistake and after 3 or 4 rides decided he wanted a medium… If you want more details drop me an email.

Never had any problems – bought a c456 from them, dropout bolts didn’t have very good threads – emailed them about them, a guy called Jamie replied saying he’d get some in the post – 2 days later they were sat on my desk (being in Jersey thats actually very fast!)

Shame, it sounds entirely like bad assembly by the shop, I’ve been running my Special Blend for about 3 weeks now and I’m loving it! I have upgraded the brakes to Elixir 5’s I had spare but I have used 1′ in the past quite a lot and they were never as bad as yours sound..

As for the rest, I actually felt the stem was perfect, so much that my Hope 70mm I was going to fit is going up for sale.
The gears also definitely need looking at on your bike, I’ve had no issues at all with the SLX gear set.

Does anyone know A to C measurement of the xfusion?
519mm at 140mm according to the website.

Confirmed – I measured mine the other day when comparing them to my RC40’s..

Any idea what they’re like for parts/servicing? Haven’t seen anyone who works on them yet.

Nope… that’s my only concern, however I’m hoping that by the time they need a service there should be some better support. I know some parts can be obtained through 2Pure who are the Ibis importer..

I’ve got some X-Fusion Velvet RLX on my Mojo, I didn’t think they were going to that good (I was adamant my RC40 Fighters were going to go on it) but I’m so impressed with them it looks like the Fighters might be going…

You can download Firefox onto your mac – you’ll find the windoze version on this site: http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html

I’d also try uninstalled IE9 (think you can do it from Control Panel, Program Features (old Add/Remove) and its under Windows components.. form memory)

See if IE8 then works as expected and if needed re-install IE9..

You realise the new Saint is small cage only? 2013 saint is 1×10 exclusively

Just thinking though, what would be the effects of running it on a 2×10 though, whats the worst that could happen – just a slack chain if I dropped onto granny gear? (which if I did I’d be running 26 front 36 rear anyway…

    Yeah – I do now :(

Might try running 1×10 instead then – just would’ve been nice to have granny as an option for when i’m feeling really lazy!

I’ve got some TLD Knee Guards – same as http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Models.aspx?ModelID=25235 – only 2 straps, no knee strap but they are massively comfortable, could easily ride all day in them.
