I’ve just got back from a drive from poole to devon and back with my 456c on a 591 – no problems at all :)

Standard is inside the triangle, but you can get different dropouts to mount them in the usual position.

Break it – how? I’ve been running a 180 on the rear of my 456c for 4 months now – no problems..

Special Blend is indeed the SL – I did look at the SLR but the cost to change virtually everything over from the C456 that I’d want to keep made it too much.. (Wedding coming up in a couple of months!)

Hmm well I had been running with tubes for a few weeks… Will see how I get on – not really prone to flats around here except for snakebites..
Might give it another goin a few weeks just to see if the sealant does seal the leaks around the nipples..

Well, managed to get the NN off and checked the tape – it looks fine – no tears etc – anyway, I’ve just stuck the old normal NN back on with an inner tube… Just call me old fashioned!

Nope, no difference, although finding replacement hose for them is not so easy..

Yip, Hope Matchmakers Tech work perfectly – I fitted some last night to my elixir 5s to mount my SLX shifters. Hope are now also doing black so its not even that noticeable.. Got mine from http://www.cyclesportsuk.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=9244

Never had any problems with them – postage costs to Jersey are excessive online but if I give them a call I get a better rate.
delivery times are always good – wish I could say the same for CRC…

Not necessarily, I’m running Avid 180’s on my C456 using the inside mounts.

I was hoping ML would improve Lion in the same way SL improved Leopard

It may well do so yet, its only on the first DP..

Lion DP 1 wasn’t fantastic either..

I’m dual booting Mountain Lion and Lion, been using ML nearly permanently since its release to Devs, until last night when it was acting weird when VPN’ing onto a client site, rebooted into Lion and it was fine, still running off Lion partition now and only remembered when I saw this… What does that tell you – nothing really ground breaking in ML.

Some people are reporting better battery performance and slighter better speed, especially with instant on, but its not really that noticeable.

In short, don’t stress about getting to Lion if its only to get to ML.

Is the fire track still there going right down the middle? From the top gate there was a nice bit that snaked down on the right hand side – that was the start of the DH course that On-A-Bike ran…

Not sure if you can still get to it or not but on the outskirts of Buckfastleigh is a woods called Kingswood – there used to be a DH series run there – but as a local we found loads of nice singletrack in there.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, I’ve been using elixir 1’s for a couple of months now and they aren’t bad at all – so far they’ve been fit and forget.

Messiah – was that the blue stuff in a pink pot? If so thanks! I used it years ago on my Oakleys, remember it being brilliant but couldn’t remember the name!

mherbie – was it black and green? Friend of mine has just bought the frame in that combo – apparently its similar to the Monster green – any chance of a lookie?

Running Pace RC41 fighters on it with slx/saint combo – absolutely love it!

I’ve had MBA’s for around 4 years or so now, the first gen which I upgraded to a 128GB myself and the first 11″ 1.4 128, I also support 2 users both running MBA’s, i7, never had any connectivity problems, only problem I’ve had is with the original that had the screen hinge issue, apple fixed no fuss.

Great machines..

I use Cyclemeter, really reliable and has stop detection.. Syncs with Dailymile which I’m not so keen on but gpx can be exported easily for import to another site.

Thanks all, picked up some Elixir 1’s from the LBS at a good price so will run them for now, although going to upgrade as running BB7 on front still, from looking in more depth today at disc’s in general, think I’m gonna go for a full set of 785’s when funds allow.
