doesnt traction control provide power to the wheel or wheels that are losing or have lost grip ? if you have no grip then how can you split no grip to 4 wheels which would result in loss of power to all wheels? at least with TC off u can control what your doing.

i have an 05 Subaru STI and have just set the DCCD to one click off fully locked and switch the Auto control off. its been great and i have had hardly an issues in the snow.

rode gisburn saturday and then pennine way sunday and i wore a thermal base layer, a 661 t shirt, pair of lycra clip in liners, pair of endura singletracks and my kyle strait knee pads. i was warm through out but i did put a beanie hat on sunday.

from my old infantry days all we got told was keep your core warm, so aslong as you keep going and dont stop and let the sweat cool down u will be fine.

my company is covering some of royal mails work and to be fair the operation is a joke and they must lose money hand over fist, wagons half full and staff that dont care.

im sorry to say something needs to be done to sort the post office to make it more efficient and yes it will mean job losses but they use 3 wagons to transport 1 trailer load.

would that ruin the climbing as i would have more pedal bob ? and using propedal would make it too stiff ?
