tyres still not in stock now until 3rd december :(just cancelled my order as i need new tyres urgent 🙁

i ordered some from leisurelakes 6 weeks ago saying they where in stock, took the money then got an e-mail saying they wont be ready until 12/11. now there still not here and my back tyre is ruined. not a happy bunny

another thing, the tabletop thats has the logs in it is about 10 to 12 feet long…that would be an interesting landing.

the photo’s make it look quite easy but that last drop is a good 8ft? i do wish i’d had a crack at it now but hey ho. mugbo there is wanting to develop and then breaking your neck.

i admire what they have done but slightly less extreme options as well as the extreme ones would of attracted more riders

its a tad more than technical, i’ll ride anything but those doubles and that final drop really are huge. still think they could of just put in smaller options for people to do instead

i’d like to know this, i have a 2009 fox 32 thats due to be serviced and think £199 for the new fit cartridge aswell is pretty good but what are the real world advantages?

love lee and cragg quarry but it is rarely slippy up there, the rocks have amzing amounts of grip on them.

we ended up going over to Hebden and doing it there in the trees, had a good time riding the rocky parts of blue pig. lots of wet muddy fun was had.

Yes those on the Mary townley will get wet and muddy, there are some very muddy sections.

I love my five ten freerides, great grip and I agree can be very grippy. Miles better than the skate shoes I have used and haven't fallen apart.

Shoes are very personal, buy what feels best and suits your style, if you like to move around a lot get something with moderate grip levels. If your a peddler, then grippy is the best.

Good point yet, think I choose the wrong ride, lee quarry isn't everyone's cup off tea and if I'd of driven 4 hours then I probably wouldn't of enjoyed lee quarry.

i just thought it didn't flow, those gates at the start and end are shite, carpa diem – 2 sections don't make a good ride, kirroughtree was great from start to finish. i think i should of picked whites or W2

Yeah there was a lot of firewall, I live smack bang on the pennines and ride lee quarry and the like. I was contemplating doing w2 but with it saying black I didn't want to risk my hand.

good in the dry, wear fast in the wet but the 4 packs are such good value that it doesn't matter.

Got a trip planned to afan in 2 weeks so as long as I can get my gloves on its all good.

does lee quarry need much maintenance? i've been riding them since they opened and the old stuff has worn really well.

i love the attack position 😀 read the sign at Kirroughtree and rode the red and black shouting "attack, attack, attack" at every obstacle 😀 much fun was had
