It wouldn’t go horribly wrong, you will just lose the ability to move forward.

Use any syringe and pipe on the calliper and the reverb bleed kit fits the lever bleed port.

I have the CS version so i have set it with a bit less LSC (2 clicks) to make it more supple as i can turn on the CS to firm it up for climbs.

    interesting issue I have.

With the CS off I struggle on the local pump track at lee quarry but with it on I sail around it, just shows the effect that the added LSR and LSC has on the bike.

the base setting is very good though so give that a try first, also wouldn’t adding LSR give it more of a pop?

Rune doesn’t pedal bad at all, I’ve smashed nearly all my all PR on strava it it is bags of fun.

very, very nice, so 26″ dropouts would shorten the wheelbase?

I wear them as I don’t want to leave finger prints behind.

Go on to MTBR forums and post in the banshee section, Keith is called builttoride. Have you actually built the bike up though as I’m not convinced you have a short top tube. Keith will be able to give you the measurement for the actual top tub not the effective top tube length.

Sui, mine had the connectormijig and when I put the reverb all the way in it kinked the hose. Routed down the bottom of the downtube and up through the linkage so all us good.

This is what they say for the rune

I’ll have a look later but the seat tube length is correct for yours but I’d redo the top tube measure as it is center to centre

I’ve just packed the bike away but the seat tube is about 470 as my 420mm reverb doesn’t allow me to use the stealth hole.

I think these are burly “freeride” options

None of those frames are freeride or downhill.

you mean you do trail riding but not XC wippet style?… so all mountain style stuff?

I’m using it as an excuse to ride somewhere I have never been, as many uplifts as I can and a blast around the trails.

I have one bike and it does everything. Unless you are competing at a decent level why would you need a bike for each discipline?

Excluding DH bikes by the way.

But I do think a Banshee Spitfire is a better all round bet.

Timing systems are pretty expensive and even the biggest timing providers have had problems this year, BDS, NDH, SDS and EWS.

I help out doing timing at events (mainly single run DH events) and it’s bloody difficult sometimes to get it all set up and ready. infact we had a recent timing failure where the interface to the computers failed and we had to use a manual system that had to time people to .01 of a second.

multi lap events or multi stage events really need to use some kind of RFID tag, either a dabber (which can be a pain) or some kind of RFID tag that is picked up as you go through a gates (expensive).
