i was up between Haslingden old road and Grane road on the rossendale way and there where signs up saying footpath 111 and footpath 117 whatever that means.

i agree with Binners that sometimes footpaths are the only way to string rides together but i always ride respectably 😀

on another note i was exploring last night and have noticed Lancashire County Council are upgrading footpaths to bridalway status.

Transporter you sound bitter, I work for them and see what we charge for jobs and as long as we make a profit whats wrong with that. Don’t think people realise the size of network we have, we have very few empty legs which helps us keep the cost down.

used CRC in the first 2 weeks of March, think it may of been the 9th and had someone try and get £130 of goods a week later. used CRC last week and nothing now. so they problem has been solved and i do belive it was something at CRC’s end and they have admitted it.

Wouldn’t call lee quarry a trail center more a giant bike park.

northwind thats my opinion on it aswell, i’ve ridden the link loads and ride up Lee quarry a lot and every person i have seen on the link have given way to people coming down.

and i don’t think those paw prints look like a big cat, more fox or dog like

its easy to set off uphill again aswell though, it isn’t the north face of the eiger. i always give way going up and every other person i have seen have done the same.
