Has there been a case in court were a cyclist has been prosecuted for pushing a bike on a footpath? a good tactic is to carry a copy of any court case and just hand it to the person doing the moaning. if it is a grey area then he cant really enforce it and having something for him to read might sway him.

I had this very same issue with a farmer last year, i had no idea it was a footpath i was on as it was a farm track but i just truned around and left to save the agro.

Use a garmin or even endomondo if that works better, then import your route into strava through the website.

I’ve had 2 oranges and both where great. My one issue is that for the price you go components made from chocolate unless you get the SE version.

All these haters don’t seem to be ruining the fact they sell like hot cakes.

i’m just going to ride where i want, aslong as where i ride is suitable for a bike then so be it, some of the footaths in the lakes are better than the bridalways.

if i get prosecuted i will take it ofr the cyclists 😀 good chance i won’t though.

Loco what will the custom tuning be?

I did my local ride with the threshold on tonight, had the low speed set 4 from soft, seemed very good, only set it too open on the steep downhill sections.

i’ve had mine a month, i replaced a pair of fox float 32’s and these are much smoother, still trying to make my mind up on the threshold mode but it does help prevent the fork from diving on slow steppy, techy descents. They have been superb in the lakes and around the pennines. i tend to ride most climbs or flat with the threshold mode on and flick to the 120mm setting on very steep stuff.

because i’m fat and gravity dictates i go downhill faster and easier 😀

I went from glen ridding via the old quarry and I say it’s a good 2/3 rds pushing. I could of carried on and gone up kepple cove, there is another route on bogtrotters site that is a lot longer.

Well I went and did it 😉 what a bloody slog to the top of helvellyn but the descent all the way back to patterdale was brilliant. Dollywagon was evil and was a lot more difficult than rangers in my opinion. The descent back to Patterdale was great and wa full of rocky multiple line choices. This morning my body feels battered with all the jumping and moving around on the bike yesterday lol. All in all one of the best complete descent I have ever done in the lakes. We had no crashes or over the bar incidents and all the walkers where amazed we were attempting Dollywagon :-), I’d love to see someone clear it with stopping lol.

Love my RCT3 fork but can’t really compare it to the RLT, I’m sure the damping is a different unit.

Lol makes me feel old and I’m only 35 🙂

I’m from up north but was based down south with the army so used to get mashed all the time in some amazing clubs. Spent 6 months in Berlin as well, some amazing techno clubs and the love parade when it was amazing 🙂

or factor in the cost against getting off and putting down/up your saddle.

do what i do just ride with the saddle about an inch lower than optimum, i ride in the lakes all the time and i hvae no issues.
