local paper is reporting that they are not moving and will go to court. the only issue for me is there taking up parking spaces, i never get any issues from them and they seem pleasent enough.

I’m half scottish does that count? i don’t see why being english has anything to do with it.

in reality scottish people go on about how they have open access but the fact is you seem more shackled than people who ride in england and wales. at least we have laws saying you can’t ride that and if you do you can be prosecuted. plain, simple and easy. In scotland you can ride anywhere but if we don’t like the cut of your gib then you lose the right and will be prosecuted.

but those rules are subjective, some poeple say they are riding with disregard others say they are fine. it’s all open to interpretation.

TJ you won’t be moved but you are being a little pedantic, i rode down dollywagons in the lakes and there were a lot more walkers on it than that video, plus it is a lot narrower but i had no issues, i had a laugh with the walkers and all those that moved did so because we have to share the route not becuase i was going to run them over.

again my opinion is they have done nothing wrong, probably could of picked a less busy day so they could of had a better descent but hey ho at least they were polite.

i respect your opinion of course and that of others who have said they are out of order.

but TJ i don’t believe they did. they were polite and respectful. I respect what you said above but it have seen much much worse on the trails.

I agree Ton it did look rubbish but if they enjoyed it then fine.

They didn’t run anyone over, so that’s responsible. at the end of the day we should all be able to have access to all areas and aslong as people are polite and respectful then I see no issues.

so morally it’s wrong but legally they are fine are we entering Jimmy carr tax avoidance territory here?

to be fair the descent looked shite anyways.

i had my eye on a Montane Atomic DT which is a pretty light jacket. its made from Entrant DT and is very breathable by all accounts.

fit a cage to the inside of your shed, bolt it into the sides of the shed. will take some serious effort to get past it. 😀

Low speed compression is how the suspensions handles small bumps, it’s a great setting to have.

yeah i have seen them in the flesh and they do seem to be smaller than a rubber queen but i’m just not sure. £40 for a tyre that is too tall is a waste of money and now Maxxis no longer make swampthings i’m stumped.

    My questions is –

The first section of the route is actually go down the route people come up so how can you safely run it when the event isn’t on?
