did a demo day on a patriot in the lake and it was fantastic. I’m nit the best climber and I found not that much difference between my current bike and the patriot.

I have an osprey escapist 20l, it costs £53 but has no bladder but is compatable with any bladder. The bladder is kept outside si it doesn’t take up any of the room.

But I have never used muc off, hence the sample would of been nice. i’m now going to spend £15 on something I know nothing about.

it’s very poor marketing, if they had limited amounts then the sample application should of been limited.

Another point is that they now have a lovely long mailing list to annoy us with their advertising.

Send an email to the local traffic commissioner and no doubt he/she will revoke his HGV entitlement for life.

Didn’t say you had to jusitfy it, you obviosuly don’t mind paying that kind of money to sove the problem. myself, i would of bought the volume space reducer kit for the high volume can and fettled with it to get it right.

as above, i really can’t see there being that much deiifrence between a 2012 and a 2013 rear shock in turns of damping, other than the CTD switch.

tomorrow, doing the coast to coast with camping gear in 3 days. considering i have never riden more than 40km in a day this may hurt 😀

air shock was “wallowy” so you spent £380 on a new shock instead of £14.99 for the volume reducing kit?

    ooooooookkkkkkkkkkk

To be fair I was being grumpy. It was a 4hr drive to get there and it was average at best so that is why I didn’t enjoy it. I suppose it would be fun if I was an hour away.
