Will the new ll be mounted in the same way so it can be central on the bars? This pleases me greatly

In what could easily end up in an all-put lumens war I think it’d have to be the 6xpgs… sorry for all the questions but do you have any idea on when the new ll will be ready? Also I couldn’t spot any info on a warranty..?

So what’s the difference between the led choices and what combination would be recommended?

LOoking good, very interested in the new liberator in purple…. seems like that amount of lumens and a good amount of waterproofing is going to be pretty future-proof

9speed, about 400 – 450 miles so far on a bike set up and built by *shock horror* …. halfords. i ride on nothing smooth, i stomp my feet down whilst in the middle ring to climb hills, im not a small lightweight person, i change gear at the wrong times (usually whilst stomping up a hill) and i’ve never used a proper lube (yet) just gt85.

    no problems so far :)

if it does snap then i’m buying a heavy duty chain and a small pack of this sram chain link thingies and i will wrap my broken chain around my neck and wear it like a medal celebrating my obvious awesomeness for riding hard enough to break stuff

+1 on the philips ones, had one for about 5 years, only replaced it becuase my housemate broke it.

replaced it with the new philips one (also comes with various attachments for nose, hair and so on) which is essentially exactly the same model as 5 years ago so they obviously havent felt the need to improve it :)

i sincerely hope that there will be the traditional bad soft pron calendars on the wall, otherwise your man-cave is a fail

    want to know phil’s s(lug)olution?!

    no? well here goes anyway:

fill the house with expanding foam
dig a moat and fill it with salt
dress up like a really massive leopard spotted one, stand on the (newly built of course) drawbridge holding up a set of bombers

i promise that no slug will set foot in your house again if you follow the steps listed above.

Tj… maybe a discussion about crime rates and every other factor that’s effecting this country is for another thread, I know crime rates are down…

I was paraphrasing, rather crudely, the op in an effort to show I had read his thread and hopefully show that his feelings in this situation of anger and dispair are not unusual in this situation. Basically because I thought there would be people arguing over stuff and it wouldn’t be long before someone writes it was her own fault for or labours fault or something equally unhelpful to someone looking to validate their feelings.

P1ss on their bombers! Own them with shoes!

One of my patients 70 year old mum was robbed recently and the police Were fantastic, sent round people to add a load of security to her house and got some cctv to be installed… didn’t stop what the incident but definately helped her feel safer again…. take up all the offers for victim support.

THis country is falling apart but there are some genuinely good people out there, being there for her will be proof of that

i have 3 schools of thought:

    1) the world will need to benefit from my superior intelligence and problem solving skills when the human race starts to rebuild itself

    2) running outside and facing the blast would be an incredible experience, facing your own certain death head on

    3) i’d still be stuck inside waiting for the OH to be ready despite me giving her several updates as to the time.

flats available from about £70k Houses from £85k

cant even buy a caravan in a caravan park for less than 112k where i live!!

i feel for you Odannyboy, the same question has been playing on my mind for about 3 years, the onyl way i console myself is that renting isnt that bad when you call someone to get something fixed instead of burning your savings each time… also we’re quite different to many other countries where its the norm to rent.

i make a concious effort to avoid threads on here where people talk about their second properties as i like to blame people with more than one house for the lack of ANYthing affordable within a 90mile distance of my work

having watched “cool runnings” twice now i believe i can answer this question with a greater knowledge base than most of STW….

if the jamaican bobsleigh team can practice their corners in a small bath and go on to win the adoration of the whole universe, then people shouldnt complain about conditions like dodgy shower doors.

i say they need to MTFU, and watch cool runnings.

are clever people not allowed to find his show funny?

i listen most mornings, i couldnt stand listening to radio 4 other than their comedy stuff… i use the radio for light entertainment, if it gets too serious then i’d rather turn it off and listen to some tech-metal or something.

the chris moyles team spend most of the time taking the p1ss out of each other and that banter is quite fun company in the morning.

That’s because lots of people are morons. Being good at appealing to morons isn’t something to be commended.

    – sounds like this quote has come from a thread about football and football fans, or people who watch tv on a saturday night

There’s a last ride out there for everyone, so you have to squeeze in as many as you can between today’s ride and that one.

    Wow, what a sobering thought!

i forgot to mention all the shiney things you can spend hours looking at, then clicking “place order” then the waiting, then the hours trying to put it on the bike just to go out and scratch it on a fun ride. i’ve jsut ordered white pedals in the hope i chip and scratch them to match the rest of the bike

drink lots of water to flush your system

some coffee or energy drink will not only wake you up a little, but make you urinate with a bit more urgency

no matter how exhausted i get, no matter how many “big drops” i end up walking (purely due to mental barriers saying “you dont get sick pay, you dont get sick pay”) no matter how short the ride… i’ve just been away from the sofa, in the woods, messing around with friends if it helps burning calories then thats a plus.
