Previous to surgery I tried it for 2-3months as normal. Seemed ok for day to day walking, but any slip or slight odd landing and you could feel it move!!

Opted to build up the muscles as much as I could in time frame and go for the rebuild!

It’s a long recovery, but if you stick with it then it works as a good training programme! Be prepared for you’re leg to start off at least half the size of your good leg, it atrophies very quickly!!

If you want to not have to worry about what you can and can’t do I’d say go surgery!
Had a full hamstring graft 8yrs ago, after tearing playing hockey.

3months of physio, back on the bike after that. 3-6months, gym, bike and normal activities. Back to hockey with a light, no metal support after 10months.

Have been playing hockey, MTB and skiing since.

Really helps if you have a physio that is sport based, they seem to be much more prepared to push you a bit further and understand the desire for it to be the best it can rather than good enough for day to day activities. It’s means physio sessions hurt, but they work!

Crazy that with a steering wheel that’s able to display Blue flags, time deltas and all the car settings that it doesn’t have an automated ‘Pit Lane Closed’ display!

Anyone managed to get this woking today? Think I may have been too slow!

Hamilton’s going to have to more aggressive if he’s going to get the front. Any one other than Bottas next to him in turn one and he’d off squeezed him wide

Also, DRS off backmarkers seems like a odd way to aid overtaking. Especially on a circuit where the tow is so important for overtaking
Should surely only activate when the following car is on the same lap, if you’re getting lapped surely the car lapping you is already considerably faster without an open wing!

    Nice route, well done! @twowheels

Do you have a .gpx of the route or a Strava account to have a look a bit closer at the route itself?

    philb88

    Good info!

Found a way that’s currently working.
Either by downloading gpx direct from rides I like the look of from local riders, or directly converting segments to individual gpx files for riders I can’t get a gpx route from.

Ridewithgps.com allows you to load multiple gpx files onto one map, and edit, trim, combine and add to paths in any way you fancy.

Makes no sense how Strava haven’t integrated segments and route planning together.
The planner only really follows roads, so is pointless for anything off-road based!

Thanks for the link. Great money-saver, hack!

For less than £5 a wheelset if you trim the 50mm in half, it’s got to be worth a shot.

Think 50mm halved in a Hope Enduro rim (23mm internal) should be spot on with 2.3/2.4 tyre? Or would a full 30/40 be better?!

Any idea what frame weight these are coming in at for a Large?

    Ghillie mKettle?

Holds about a pint, fuel either sticks/pine cones etc or tangia burner fits in there and is sheltered from wind inside the fuel pit

Thought I’d seen more on Strava last year than I could find this year!
Problem is with strava at a trail centre (as any trail-centre) is the amount of segments, that just overlap each other foe the same route!!

Sounds like it’s worth an explore though

Fabric mounts seem to work better with the smaller bottle. The larger one seems to have too much weight above the mounts and twists off.

The larger does seem to stay on better if you have the bottle mounts on the seattube, the smaller bottle seems to stay fine on the downtube. Even on a rigid fatbike

Just done a reverse image search, and have a load of images ‘pinned’ on Pinterest.

Not Happy, and appears to be no easy way to get them down!

How are you all searching to see if your images have been used elsewhere?
I get some will just be chance occurrences that you’ve spotted them, but must be a way to search specifically?

I got the sport model with HR strap included for £140 on Black Friday.
Sport model has the multi disciples in the activity selection, unlike the run. Rest seems to be identical.

Depends if you need energy efficient lighting for a new build building regs. Ones with removable bulbs don’t count!

Assuming you want IP65 ratings for the bathroom?

Just fitted 25 of these 8W IP65 rated ones, integrated bulbs so get around the low energy lighting requirements for BC. Also integrated driver and push fit terminals. 60 deg beam puts the lighting pattern about a foot from the ceiling with a decent spread of light

ENLite Fire Rated Fixed E8 LED Downlight IP65 Warm White 8W

Also available in cool with different bezels too, worked great for what I need
