Looks like your tension spring has failed.
Not sure if it’s repairable though.

I’m using the E matrix on my Hope E4s, they’ve been good so far.
Good stopping power and quiet, haven’t been using them long enough to comment on the longevity.

Pivot points on front and rear mechs get a spray lube and a wipe down with a rag every now and again.

The front mech can seize up over the winter due to getting sprayed with salty cack from the rear wheel.

    Only one tesco crate?
This was my corner at a bike jumble.
    20 years of hoarding
Its about half of what’s hoarded in various locations.

    Yesterday for a routine checkup.
Hygienist booked for a couple of months time.
All seems normal apart from having to wear a mask in the waiting room & not sat in the dentists chair.
They started back up about 6 months ago.

You couldn’t possibly be suggesting that Superstar has knocked off someone else’s design 😁

Probably a variation on an M4 cap screw.

I reckon that’s going to snap if you try straightening it.
Zooming in it looks like it’s already starting to go along the bottom.

If the hose had been cut at the banjo, I think it is new hose time (not cheap !).

You could only remove the fittings at the lever end on the ones I had.

From part 2 of the Scottish Outdoor Access Code

A summary of your access rights

    5. The main places where access rights do not apply are:
    …..golf courses (but you can cross a golf course provided you don’t interfere with any games of golf);
    ……

From my conversation with a Fife Council access officer a few years ago about a minor issue on a core path next to a golf course “you can cycle on a golf course provided you stick to the tracks and don’t cycle on the greens or fairways”

As far as I can see you are correct.

We had 2 at work and they both broke.
    I didn’t replace them.
A squeegee and a cloth does just as well for a lot less money.

A bucket of water delivered from height or a mop in a bin bag normally do the trick.

An ultra soft wired downhill tyre will be a nightmare to pedal uphill or along tarmac.
If you run it on the rear it will wear out very quickly.
I’d send it back and get the one you wanted.

You lot down south need to mobilise for proper access laws like up here in Scotland. There really is no need for this nonsense.

It happens up here too. These clowns for example although I think the grim reaper may have dealt with this couple.

As previously mentioned the bushing in the lower leg is probably damaged too. Certainly the case when my fox talas had wear like that on the stanchion.

must they? Do you have to provide an alternative route to members of the public who want to pass through your back garden?

Nope, because access rights don’t apply to houses and gardens.

I got a new bladder via them a while ago to replace the one I’d bought on amazon to replace the original bladder in my mule. They put me in contact with the UK distributor for the cycle trade.
I had to email them a photo of the bladder along with the pack and they sent me out a replacement.
It was all relatively hassle free.

Given there are no 2021 event’s on the NO Fuss page I’d say it wasn’t on in the first place.

    B I doubt they’re incompatible.
C new chain? is it on the correct way round? Writing to the outside?
Have you routed the chain through the derailleur correctly?
    Is the chain long enough?

    Keep her on a lead.

    Thats exactly what happens.
She’s not allowed to jump up at anyone or approach anyone uninvited. She’s 16 months old and training is ongoing and continuous, every time we go out.

A water pistol or a jif lemon full of water works well as a deterrent .

This wouldn’t work with my collie, she’d think it was a game!
She doesn’t get off lead though as her recall isn’t good enough yet.
A jif lemon full of lemon juice is more effective.

    QR wheels?
Is the wheel axle fully seated in the dropout?
I find that this happens if I put the wheels in on the work stand and do up the qr. Putting the wheel in with the bike on the ground then doing up the qr sorts the issue for me.
