It’s not much better up here.

Meanwhile 97% of Scottish receiving waters are classed as good or outstanding and some of the best in Europe

But Scottish water are merrily pumping shit into them 38 times a day https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/scottish-news/sewage-dumped-scotlands-rivers-14000-29592391l

Whilst letting 454 million litres a day leak out of their pipes.

I’d settle for him becoming an unperson & while vaporisation is a tad extreme working as a low paid key worker for the remainder of his days would suffice.

Failing that hang him up in the jougs

For all you waxing lyrical about the Grifter did you never experience “slip gear”?
The cause of many a blunt force trauma to adolescent testicles. Usually occuring as a result of standing up to apply extra power to the pedals 😬

Kemback is about 40 minutes pedal from St Andrews & has lots of fun trails. I’ve not been up since February though (post ACL reconstruction) so I can’t say what’s open at the moment.
The bike shop in Pitscottie is closed though.

Storm Arwen made a mess of a lot of the trails in Tentsmuir so it could be a wasted trip and it’s flat as a pancake.

There are a few trails tucked away in Cairngreen Wood near Cupar, quite short but could be tied into a Kemback ride.
Pitmedden is 45 minutes away by car.

Yep, new Wiggle/CRC website is utter garbage since the upgrade.
I’ve been going elsewhere since it changed.

Well as the law requires that an employer must provide appropriate PPE if a risk assessment has identified it as an appropriate control and that the employee must use the PPE when supplied, not sure what challenge could be made?

They could argue the employer hadn’t given enough thought to alternative control measures that would be effective in the risk assessment before mandating the use of PPE as PPE is the last step in the hierarchy of control.

An extra step in the distribution chain ups the price.

The same price shift happened when they went from Alpine bikes to Fishers in the early 2000s

Remember we are talking about a serving British Prime Minister here. Who needed nearly a million quid at short notice for undisclosed personal needs.

That’s an awfully big coke debt, allegedly 😁

I pity the students that end up in Eden Mill @ Guardbridge.
I’d be pissed off if one of mine ended up there in the middle of nowhere when they thought they were going to be living by the East Sands.

Not as much as those who found themselves housed in Dundee when they applied for St Andrews halls!

He’s getting all cross and chucking out his Bud lite, partly because of it’s LGBTQ ties and replacing it with Coors lite which has even stronger LGBTQ ties.

It’s getting harder to tell satire from reality
Bloke throws a hissy fit and swaps Bud lite for Coors Lite.

You aren’t running panaracer tyres are you?
I had this once with a panaracer tyre. It took me many punctures and a 5 mile walk home but the cause turned out to be the tyre casing/bead had stretched so much that the tyre was rotating round the rim under load, ripping off the valve stem.
Changing to a different tyre solved the problem.

Pay the 900kg gatekeeper off with a polo and live to ride another day.

A word of caution, Don’t pay Dobbin off with a sugarfree polo. Anyone standing to the rear of the equine will not thank you!
One sugarfree mint is like a dose of Picolax for horses 💩💩

Is he the same shouty idiot that’s been doing this for years or have they multiplied

He’s the same shouty man from ITN news in 2011. Nevermind getting squashed, he’s gonna give himself a heart attack or stroke carrying on like that.

I asked for the accident book a few years ago and was told we don’t have one.

    Is that legal?

If there is no method of recording accidents e.g. an accident book the the company will find it very difficult to demonstrate compliance with regulation 12 of RIDDOR.
3 day absences resulting from a work related accident must be recorded.
7 day absences resulting from a work related accident must be reported.
Broken bones (other than fingers and toes) must be reported.

If the highway code rule says MUST or MUST NOT it’s law.
The relevant law is quoted underneath.
    e.g.

    Rule 69
You MUST obey all traffic signs and traffic light signals.

    Laws RTA 1988 sect 36 & TSRGD schedule 3 part 3, schedule 7 part 4, schedule 9 parts 4 and 6, schedule 13 part 6, schedule 14 part 2
