Headset bearings will be 1″1/8 top & 1″1/2 bottom.

    Details here

    https://www.hopetech.com/product-documents/controls/#!pick’n’mix-headsets

If the bottom bracket is fine I wouldn’t replace the bearings.

If you’re running gxp cranks with an adapter the bearings are od 37mm, id 24mm, width 7mm

    Something like this?

We use them at work to keep the receptionists from freezing.

Base layer underneath, jersey or jacket over the top.

I find squashing extra layers underneath is uncomfortable and doesn’t allow the insulation to trap warmth.

I have a pair of fox defend fire bib pants, not waterproof but nice and warm and no jacket/trouser gap.

You’ll need to play around with spacers to get the correct chainline but you can make it work.

Currently running a 40T chainring on Raceface deus cranks on my gravel frankenbike.

    Print out one of these

    Stick it in the window.

    Job done.

Failing that I’d dig a moat.

I know someone who got tickets for Edinburgh at the standard price.

I hope they haven’t got seats in the West stand.

Some of the seats for sale in the West stand at Murrayfield are in line with or behind the stage?

St Andrews is full of slack jawed golf tossers at the moment thanks to the AIG women’s open. They’ll be gone by Monday though.

Is this one of the enduro tracks?

    https://www.strava.com/segments/10165483

If so, it was running well enough. Really enjoyed it.

That track was used on the BES round up there before covid.

Was she Mrs H at the time it was this a first date scenario?

🤣🤣 she had been Mrs H for a good while by this point. Amazingly she is still Mrs H despite my many mountain bike related mishaps.

I got one on on the underside my scrotum once.

Once she stopped laughing Mrs H removed it.

My workshop is 10′ x 8′ and is only just big enough. The garden stuff lives in another lean to shed attached to the workshop.

What’s the range of a transporter with a full tank?

I’ve never run mine to empty but I can easily get 700 miles if I fill mine to the brim and do mainly motorway driving.

Just to add: Avoid LYCA Mobile. Today I’ve had 2 active card checks on the card details I provided (only provided to Lyca so I know it is them) to Lyca mobile a year ago. Luckily they have both been declined, as I used a virtual card (Monzo) which I had deleted after I cancelled my sim for a holiday.

Another 3 reasons to avoid LYCA mobile; Money laundering, VAT fraud & donations to the Conservative party.

A bit more info & interview with the victim.

We still only have one side of the story but unless there were strong mitigating circumstances it sounds very much like the bikers we’re in the wrong.

It’s odd how much times change.

As kids in a rural area most of us had bowie knives (talking 11,12,13 ish). Knives were for building dens and man-traps in the woods and playing chicken by throwing them between each others legs!

It’s been a while since I played a game of knifey!

    Which tape are you using?

I had contant issues with the tessa equivalent of Stans yellow tape on my gravel bike wheels. Couldn’t get it to confirm to the rim properly & it would lift slightly letting air and sealant into the spoke holes and the air would make its way out of the valve hole.

Changing to multiple wraps of a thinner tape & blowing all the residual sealant out of the rim with an air line sorted things out and the tyres finally stayed up.
