Similar to above, DS212J but with a raspberry pi doing the playing.

I lived less than a mile from there as a kid, it didn’t exist at the time but I don’t see the point of limiting yourself to one area. Perhaps I just don’t understand trail centres.

If you want something more interesting loop up through sherwood clumber creswell norton.

Amazon are launching new products *today* , so wait and see what happens first. Most likely a delay till we see them but they may be worth the wait, or force down prices for the older stuff.

I didn’t know it had changed – AFAIK, you could still be done for “speeding” on a bike.

Appears to still be the case, The Royal Parks and Other Open Spaces Regulations 1997, amended by Statutory Instrument 2004 to be “On the Park roads in Bushy Park, Greenwich Park, Hyde Park (except for the Serpentine Road), The Regent’s Park, and St James’s and The Green Parks, at a speed not exceeding 30 mph, and on the Park roads in Richmond Park, at a speed not exceeding 20 mph”

Not sure if the bike track is a “road” for these purposes, but you are required to follow instructions given by notice.

To answer the OP, I would say neither, they are royal park roads subject to specific, and quite different regulations, eg no trade vehicles, no caravans etc etc

Obvious question, Is everyone actually releasing the bead from both sides?

Most off road tyres don’t need a lever.

Only caveat is that you need power near the master socket, or wiring good enough to move the master elsewhere. With older houses having the master in the hall, that can need a little alteration.

Also at 48 its unlikely to be worth paying for 80 over 40/10.

Didn’t meet “too many ignorant, arrogant fellow human beings”

You went on a good week. I used to repair those BSO’s many eons ago, the quality of the guest varied a lot week to week, high season southern c$%^s were a total pain. Best weeks are scottish school holidays when English are at school, brilliant people all week.

As for the rest of this anything good will get stolen, lock it inside (and use the shower to clean it!) Oh and sherwood pines isn’t the only local place to ride, there are loads of other local routes that are better, and when you finish those remember you are only 45 mins from Derbyshire.

Important to remember that the 1968 country side act that allowed cycling on bridleways was amended (New Clause E) in the lords to allow pushing of bikes on footpaths:

“Lords Amendment No. 35: After Clause 26, in page 28, line 10, at end insert new Clause “E”: Any member of the public shall, subject to any orders made by a local authority, and to any byelaws, have the right to wheel a bicycle, not being a motor vehicle, on any footpath.”

This was removed when the act returned to the commons, not because anyone didn’t want this clause, but because it was unnecessary, you do not require law to allow something that is already legal. That was the view of the government of the day, I’ve not seen anything more recent that disagrees with that.

I’m afraid you are wrong about the center parcs bit. CP will never develop another site in GB, the length of time for planning the woburn site convinced them not to bother again, and they have saturated the market anyway. The next site, if built, will be in Ireland (N or S).

In the big scale of things it doesn’t look like much of a development, from reading this thread it appears like its taking a huge part of the site. I think people forget that it wasn’t long ago we were going to lose all the woodlands, FC needs to start paying its way.

It might already be above, but room inside for people to bring their bikes in, and a sign on the door encouraging it.

If I’m browsing I don’t want to have to keep one eye on the scrotes outside.

“I’ve told him to sit tight and wait for something to arrive in writing, then he will need to consult a solicitor.”

That sounds like good advice, it appears you must act quickly when they send something or your stuffed. I would speak to LAS, they are quite helpful and will give you an idea of what can happen.

Generally a good idea unless your walls are constantly wet, eg you live where wind swept rain is a problem, or you already have damp problems due to other issues.

The rics scotland advice seems fair:

Used to work there, stayed at a couple, basically as others have said many people love em. I would add that if you do stay in summer book things beforehand, they tend to sell out.

I did see the woburn one is signposted, dunno when it opens though.

One tip, a letter (yes on paper, remember paper?) to the CEO will always go further than a phone call. State the loyal customer part, and stick to the facts. (Family dealt with these many years ago, though that was pre email days)

Though perhaps this was a higher power telling you that you booked the wrong village.

The video above is correct. Failing sectors are copied then marked as bad at the hardware level, over time this leads to quite an amount of data that can never be wiped by software, but can be read with suitable specialist hardware.

There is no tradition. Check the deeds, or title plan and register if registered (most are), grab here (Land Reg) if you don’t have them.

Read this ( Linky ) before trying to understand the documents.

Not sure if this has already been suggested, but its important you send the error to OS, as they may not know about it. Its takes a while to check, but the OS cartographers will get back to you after checking and will fix it.

It will take years before its fixed on the 25/50’s though as they are only generated from the OS master map every 5 years or so.

Just to add to this if you do tell them where to stick their box they will offer 6 months at half price, but can be sniffy about downgrading at the same time. Leave it 4 weeks cancelled and they will offer 1 year at half price.

I have a hacked craptasic buffalo, but when I replace it it will be a qnap or a synology. The important thing is to search around and find someone with the same setup, DLNA is a standard only in that everyone has paid for a sticker, most of the devices will just not work together(Yes that’s you I’m looking at, Sony)

“Just read it all and it appeared to be all a storm in a tea cup, mainly rumor on here (surprise, surprise) being taken as gospel. And then nobody beleived the guy who was actually talking to the estates manager”

Yes it appears it was, for this year, but its a classic example of private woodlands gone wrong. Aspley Woods/oak wood/stockgrove/rushmere 4 bits of woodland that if they were FC would be joined up and used by every one, instead we get:

    1. Aspley where you go with the permission of his lordship, everyone doff your cap, else you won’t be using it next year, where of course you need permit number 1.
    2. Oak Wood , yes that’s permit number 2.
    3. Stockgrove, with no access, and
    4. Rushmere, despite greensands being well meaning still has no access 12 months+ after being purchased (when they could have had a permissive bridleway inserted on day one). Will this be permit 3?

All that within just 5 miles. Now multiply up by all the new private woodlands being created , what will that be permit 4, 5, 6, 50 , 100, 200 all with different rules, all with different insurance companies.

Total madness, for the sake of a few quid in government coffers, which won’t even pay for a couple of days of uk debt payments.

If anyone wants to see what happens with private forests, search for the Woburn thread and see what happens when a rich landowner decides access based on which side of the bed they get out of.

If you think CROW will save access, then to that I say “Health and safety”, “rare orchid”, “land erosion”, etc etc etc. I can think of a thousand excuses that will be used to keep people out.

Just cancel it, you end up with the same channels as freesat plus a few others see:

    http://www.sky.com/shop/freesat/home/what-can-i-watch/

Remember that if they have sky+ this will stop working, if you want to keep the recording features you need a freesat+ box.

Switch to the dev version, and see if that solves it, for some reason I’ve always found it more stable than the stable version.

It actually increases the traffic speed. I used it before and after it was built, and it helps loads. Instead of 3 lanes of idiots merging into 2 in the normal chaotic way, you take off a lane at a junction leaving 2+bus lane, then merge the bus lane in later.

Removing it is likely to make traffic worse, and will increase the number of accidents.

    >He went to prison for that as he overstepped the line.

The bloke you are thinking of was released on appeal as his sentence was changed to suspended, his brother still got 2 years but will be out by now. Their family were tied up and forced to crawl from room to room, he should have got a medal for beating the criminal.

Anyway , the social worker party aren’t in power any more, its the hang-em by the balls party in now. Get out your basball bat, and drive a few nails through it for good measure.

Pulse works well, but not without a few problems. Its a little old now, and will not go to android 2.2, but 2.1 is okay. Also the camera is rubbish.

On the plus side its a really cheap android phone, mine was about £110(they have a lot of offers on it), and I just topped up £10 for a couple of months to get free web, then spent the topup for 6 months internet, works out as a cheap inet phone without more to pay.

I broke my 4th metacarpal the other year, didn't hurt, didn't swell up. Only thing I noticed was that when making a fist the ring finger didn't close correctly and crossed over towards the other finger.

As others have said , x-ray is the only way to tell.

That cable routing looks nothing like the demo bikes used in other reviews see:

Given that was the launch event, and we assume the best trek mechanics around set those up, then someone has screwed up badly with yours.

Either Trek or the shop need to step up and get that frame replaced.
