    >(… is how that scenario always played out in my head)

That how it plays out in reality as well, I’ve done it twice.

Then a couple of weeks later cancel the whole thing, they will offer 30% off, ignore that. Before it disconnects they will be back with 50% off.

If you are willing to disconnect it for a while they will also return with a 75% off.

The family cat lost a mouse down the house where the radiator pipe went into the skirting.

It paid special attention to that spot for the next 10 years, somehow hoping the mouse would pop back out one day.

2nd gen 4g is due soon, specs have already leaked. Worth waiting if you want the bigger screen on 4g.

When we got sky fibre the BT guy installed the BT modem and a new sky router.

They don’t do that anymore, its self installed and the SKY black SR102 router supports both fibre and adsl

I grabbed one off ebay to get rid of both boxes.

Blowers are useless they just move the problem around. The shredder function is the best part, mainly because it reduces the volume by tenfold. If you have a 10 acre pile then it helps them mulch down quicker, for the rest of us you can force a gigantic volume in a wheely bin.

I went into a local shop and asked for the best price for a bike, they told me the supplier didn’t allow them to discount. I pointed out that was illegal, they ran out back and didn’t return.

Shops are their own worst enemy.

Yes it takes a while to train, I swapped my modem and lost 10Mb, it came back a week later.

The problem is it has all become a blur between real and imagined. Someone of the people who said they were abused are 100% fake, they were not at the locations they claimed to be, official records and eye witnesses prove this.

At this stage I doubt we will ever know the truth.

I lived there for 5 years. In the day it was much cheaper than surrounding areas, while giving access to the riverside etc, but everything costs a bomb these days. I did also work there, and didn’t drive, which made it ideal.

I wouldn’t live there for uxbridge though, I would want somewhere further out. “Close” to london is a relative term, the hounslow loop line is crap, you can be closer while being further out.

If it’s taking pgp 10 mins to hibernate then either its bust or your machine is ancient.

I would shove an ssd in it and put windows back on.

focam units will work, as do many of the copies(like mine), but the HD ones apparently might cause some problems. The range isn’t great on the wireless versions, so depends where you router is.

Plenty of other threads on the surveillance station forum (synology site)

What kind of bee? Some can be collected, others like bumblebees cannot. Bird boxes tend to be tree bumblebees (orange-black-white), they are harmless even in a drone swarm and can be ignored.

Build up a list of parts on http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/ it will list the best prices, and list reviews from other people. There are loads of similar builds on there, chances are someone else has built exactly the same list before.

Theres always http://www.stayatbridleways.co.uk/, about 10 mins ride from the clipstone side entrance.

Remember that sherwood pines is not the whole area, you have old sherwood , clumber and all inbetween + plenty of other routes west and east of the forest areas.

My company only recruits grads with 1st class degrees, why?, because there are so many in the market we can!!!

We should really increase that to having 3 languages as-well.

What great idea, you can ride up to the UK’s first oilfield just down the road.

    >the council need to consider other users, the event would effectively prevent horse riders from using the affected parts of the bridleway network and would have a significant impact on walkers

No it wouldn’t, this isn’t a race, its a load of people released at staggered times. I’ve been over of the MK course at the same time at this happened the other year, its little more than bank holiday level traffic.

This was caused by the standard level of incompetence from central beds council, true me I know about it. 10 Days to get a simple email response, if they bother to reply, to 4 months for a replacement bin (which they broke). I’m lucky, I’ve learnt if you want anything at all you ignore the standard communication channels and take everything through the ward councillors, evans obviously didn’t have that option.

Phone up and cancel, they will offer a discount, if its not at least 50% then cancel it.

A 50% off offer will be in the post within 2 weeks.

At one point I had 75% off TV, free phone line and half price fibre.

Make sure you patch it, there is a remote access vulnerability around. Also using a VPN to access it will be much more secure.

I went with http://www.yourcoverinsurance.co.uk (allianz) after seeing it here, £5K total anywhere, adds about £35 to the policy, making it £300 for building+contents+bike for me.

Just make it easy for the engineer. Provide wiring to a backbox where ever you want it, and he will crimp the master socket and use the new one.

Or just do self install and do it yourself.

    what he said, build one.

http://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc is good for looking at what others are building and various parts lists.

Obvious question, is it self install or engineer install? They changed over quite recently, but you may be able to ask for one or the other.

They can connect it to a none master socket, they just crimp together the wires in the existing master and switch it over.

    >Do people pay those prices? If yes then price justified.. simple economics.

Its been 99+% full for over 20 years. I’m surprised people liked Winfell though, CP had spies in when it opened, and predicted on the first day it would go bust, which it did. It was built on the cheap.

I’m not sure about woburn, seems the local woodland(milbrook warren) is a little small. I guess people will have to go down to woburn main if they want to ride anywhere.

As above physio, you may be able to fix within a week with the correct diagnosis. Don’t try and self diagnose, the two common minor injuries for discs are at the front or back of the disc, the exercises to solve them are 100% different depending on which side it is. Doing the wrong one can aggravate rather than improve it.

Everyone in other countries does it twice a year, so it cannot be too bad.

When the season changes you see all the steel wheels around, as they don’t want to pay a premium to switch the tyres straight away, after a few weeks they are all back on alloys.

Ex-trade, I know all the games. Last time I bought a bike a dealer actually told me that he couldn’t do discounts as the distributor doesn’t allow him to. I pointed out that would breach the competition act 1998, he ran off, in his own shop!

Theres a lot of illegal stuff goes on in the bike trade, and as customers we are getting screwed by it.

For some reason the old stock of merino jerseys is listed as £20 with 50% off, but it rings through as £7.50, worth a punt.

Tagged as “pure merino Wool” so I guess 100%

There is instructions at the bottom of this post for setting up openvpn on android, opening unencrypted ports through the router is a bad idea.

I’ve not tried on android, only via a windows box.

Perhaps the FC prefer to spread the money across the whole of their sherwood holdings?

If you are stuck in sherwood pines you are missing 90% of what the area has to offer.

Just to repeat the above, *do not pilot drill stone*, the larger bit will jam and fling the drill back at you.

Easiest way is to start the hole with a normal drill to keep the entrance neat, then sds the rest, use the same sized bit.
