264 all out. Though that rather depends on how soon hussey goes.

‘Kymshots and creampies’ should attract some traffic

I proper lol’d at that, it must of appealed to my childish sense of humor.

ah baws, didn’t realise it started a bit earlier tonight. Glad to see Haddin has gone already. Bit of luck and the rest should go reasonably quickly now.

I’d say go test ride a few other bikes, might help you decide what it is about the Heckler your not getting on with? I had a 2007 Heckler, loved it but never quite gelled with it, if you know what I mean. After trying a few other bikes I found it was the comparatively short front end. I now ride a Cannondale Prophet, same size as the Heckler, but the longer top tube means it feels quite different and this one is a keeper for a good while yet.

R5 extra on now, not sure if its a 11:30 or 12:00 start. Think we’ve had the toss already.

Haven’t had any experience with the SRAM road kit yet, but I’d leave the screws alone, change down into the highest/smallest gear and use the barrel adjuster to tweek the cable tension to just take up any slack.

I’ve been resisting buying a PS3 so far, but as I bought a PS2 just to get GT3 after loving GT and GT2 on the original playstation its getting kind of inevitable. Damn it!

Leave as is, its alu and is highly unlikely to straighten out without breaking.

Vauxhall Combo 1.7D. 4 large bikes in with the wheels on, 9(!) with wheels off. Rubber floors front and back means its great for biking. Fancy making me an offer?

Will 18 be having demo bikes then? I’d really like to try one.

I like switching between the two, I like to think it keeps me sharp. Its good to learn how to move the bike around using proper technique rather than relying on the clips, but I do like the pedaling efficiency of clips.

Endura windchill jacket and SealSkinz road lobster gloves, should keep me toasty. Otherwise, some choc, some ales and some JD.

In the 15-20 range i’d say the safest bet would be a Chateauneuf du Pape. Usually fabulous.

Was on sale in Sainsburys earlier this week for £10. Picked up a couple whilst I was there.

End section of Kranked Revolve. They had a great write up in Dirt Mag last month iirc.

Its threads like this that keep me coming back to STW. Can’t help but start giggling like a child reading some these very random posts.
Definitely been grumpy this year, but STW always raises a smile.

Theres a great thread on MTBR about air pressures on dual air Revs. General consensus is the recommended pressures are way off. I run mine about 90+ and 85-. I weight about 12.5 st with kit on.

I’d be interested to see how those Fulcrums hold up in cross use. Nice winter bike though. Looks about right size to me, 60?

I didn’t see a round up of any other British sucess on there this year. I know Steve Peat got a mention last year, but nothing for Gee being World Cup champion I guess. I know its far more niche than Cav, but a little recognition wouldn’t hurt would it?

Just one? Probably the current Enduro then, although working for a Cannondale dealer, I’d get a tidy deal on a Jekyll.

Who’s the bookies fave? Think Taylor, Williams or McCoy. I’d like to see Williams get it really, proper athlete, won’t get any more recognition for another 4 years.

I thought only Sean Bean and Sean Pertwee were allowed to do advert voiceovers, it’s the law

Don’t forget Rob Brydon, although I think he covers up his Port Talbot upbringings quite well for the voiceovers. Always sounds very Welsh on QI etc though.
