I think the tension on that caravan cover is a bit uneven.

    Nice bike though. 8)

Gave the first play of their new single on Radio1 today. Very good tunes for chilling too.

750mm Funn FullOn on the Prophet, 762mm Azonic on the SXtrail and 685mm easton ea70 on the Specialized P2. The eastons feel stupidly narrow now.

Think that looks a lot better than the 456C actually. Don’t know why, just does.

Hmm, I wonder what angle they’re going for in the marketing?
    The “Katy Perry” technique perchance

Except LC have been around a damn site longer than Ms.Perry.
Would have to go with DS’s choices, good taste that man.

If that is genuinely the case, abolish VED and stick it on the cost of fuel. That way you pay for what you actually use. Then its linked directly to emissions, real world fuel use and actual road use.

I love how people get so pedantic about car tax. It still amounts to the same thing. Call it what you like, but its another tax on the motorist to go along with the fuel duty/tax and all the rest of it. Call it Road Fund Lisence or Vehicle Excise Duty or whatever the hell you like, it amounts to the same thing. The change to VED was/is just another attempt to give it a coat of greenwash.
Clarkson is Clarkson, its what he does and if you don’t like it, don’t watch it.

    5 and 1/2
    1x big bouncy bike
1x not so big bouncy bike
    1x jumpy HT
    1x nice weather road bike
    1x crap weather road bike
1/2x frame, forks, wheels etc for another big bouncy bike lying around. Should get it sold really.
    Need a pub/hack bike really. 😉

Saw it at Core, got a quick demo. District rear light is stupidly bright. You will be seen definitely, but I suspect the odd motorist may run you down anyway, as he can’t see anything after being blinded by aforementioned light.
As for the new front one, oh my god, its just ridiculously bright. Football stadia floodlights sprang to mind. Currently only run the top mode for 10 or 15mins anyway and then automatically drops down to 1800(!?!)lumens. I guess because of heat issues, or it’ll flatten the battery in another 15mins. Impressive? Yes. Overkill? Absofrickinglutely.

Think so, caught a stupid cold type bug, so taking a couple of days out the saddle and making sure I get it out the system asap. Back on it tonight though, circuit training.

Steve – I’m entered a 3 of the events, but due to work stuff I can’t control, I can no longer enter the Eastridge event. Is it possible to get my entry moved to the Kielder one instead?

QR is only to provide tension against the frame, wouldn’t worry about a bit of play inside the axle.
The aksium hubs are adjustable tension similar to cup and cone style hubs, even though they have cartridge bearings.

But they always come in those net bags? Can’t recall ever seeing oranges sold by the punnet. 😉

I’ve also noticed how much everyone uses ‘epic’ now. When did that start? Worse still, I’ve caught myself doing it! 😳

I’m guessing that liability insurance will take up a massive chunk of the fee. Only guessing though.

I’m down for 3 of them, couldn’t really afford to lump out the cash for all 5 in one hit. Hope theres spaces left closer to the time. Went for the ones I think will sell out quickest. Looking forward to them, just need to work on my skills and buy a dropper post.

I’ve got the RS Revelations at 150mm on mine. Amazing fork and doesnt make the front end flop over, unlike my mate who has a pair of Fox 36 floats on his. Don’t have any pics at the moment.

I agree entirely, the big venues do sound crap – foos at wembley was a prime one – but with a big act, you don’t get much choice anymore.

Never Ending Story? Most of those 80s fantasy films actually.
Can’t believe someone said Stardust, brilliant film I reckon. Course I won’t say it too loudly. Might have to find a copy of TPB, never seen it.

From what I’ve seen, the cost of tickets is reaching a silly level. Are people still prepared to pay? Are all venues sold out?
Seems to me the big gigs are selling out within seconds – however I’ve been to a couple (Oasis/Foo Fighters @ Cardiff springs to mind) where there have been loads of empty seats, but lots of touts outside with handfuls of tickets. So my guess is the touts are artificially increasing prices.

Spectacularly so. Foos at Wembley a prime example, wanted to see KoL last year, but got beaten there on the phones, and the theres a million and one of the things on ebay 10 mins later at vastly inflated rates. The artists/management probably don’t really care as they’ve got a sell out. I won’t pay the stupid prices, but obviously plenty others do else these guys wouldn’t be in business.

Just the one if driving. 4 is probably my limit on the bike, get a bit wobbly after that. Having said that visited a beer festival last summer and had something in the region of 8. Took a very long time to get back. 😆

putting the kiss of death on it, but Prior is up to 66, reckon he might go further, don’t think Bresnan will get a good score but looks like he could be there a while. We’ll pass 540. I’m happy with it. Will be interesting to see how far the aussies get by the end of the day.
