A friend and I were reminiscing one evening and he mentioned an old girlfriend of mine. I went on to say that despite living in the same small town I had not seen or heard of her in well over a year. At that exact moment my phone rang and it was that girl. She said she had just been thinking about me and had called for a chat. I was speechless.

I just got the KCNC adaptor from Clee and it’s fitted and working perfectly.

I used it to fit a Hope Mini Mono IS mounts to a 2011 Revelation with Post Mounts. I use a 180 Magura Venti Disc.

The pinky red doesntt clash too much with the Lime Green Heckler either!!

Meet Heather!

She has just replaced Penelope my Blur.

Got my 2011 Heckler frame earlier this week and just finished building her ( Heather) up.

Im 6′ and went for large. Havent ridden it yet – big day planned for Sunday.

Currently have 1300mm Magura Laurens which are great forks but might be a tad too short….

I accepted a package today as well. It wasnt in my script but things at work went a bit mad and as a solution they offered me a decent package. Working until December ( lots of it from home) and then Im done. Weird feeling. But they will include my C2W bike ( bought this month) in the deal.:-)

And I reckon I needed a kick up the ass to get out there anyways….

The Blur Classic is specced for 100mm so those figures are accurate.

I have 130mm on mine and it rides even better!

Im contemplating retiring my Blur Classic and getting a nice new lime green Heckler frame and swapping the bits- including a Magura Laurin 130 fork….

Am I making any kind of mistake?

In the 80s I attended a number of “courses” relating to Civil Defence after we upgraded our early warning systems and was bemused by the instructions I was supposed to follow in the event of an a nuclear attack warning.Basically I was supposed to round up a number of designated VIPs and take them to secret bunkers so as they would survive. But I had a machine gun…….and they didnt.

My wee one took a tumble when she was about one and banged her head against a table. Cue massive cartoon bump on her forehead and a trip to A&E. And one of the most uncomfortable moments of my life. After checking Kates head the doctor took her nappy of and checked her private bits – in full view of me – and whilst I understood the rationale behind it I really felt angry.

Munqe-chick – I wont be surprised. But I do have 29 years experience….and I really do know how it all works.

Whether its a burglary, robbery or theft doesnt really matter. The fact is Nan is ok…and her family should really resist the urge to hunt the fecker down.

Munqe-chick will know very well that its low priority and the chances of making an arrest, never mind a prosecution, are slim. And as for the sentence…wise up. We all know that robbery, aggravated burglary or whatever…there will be a thousand reasons given by a thousand do-gooders as to why Nan was at fault.

Just hope that the law will deal with it. Rest assured that if you and your family try to deal with it you will be demonised and will feel the full force of the law. Which is more than those pieces of shit will ever endure.

Kneecapping?? Ironically it did keep our streets safer. Apart from random acts of terrorism.

I had one and was initially very impressed with it. But after about 6 months the freehub began slipping. Faffed around with it with but it still slipped.Spoke with SS and they werent too concerned – invited me to send the hub back for a wee look but as they were going on holiday that would take a couple of weeks.So I then bought a replacement freehub. It worked brilliantly but less than 20 miles later the entire hub failed. Seems like something inside went all wobbly and loose.

So I gave up and bought a Hope Pro2 and its excellent!

Both A+B managed a group of 20 and one was always available 0700-1900 weekdays and on call out

Management misquote Man A when he previously stated they could, on occasion, spend 70% of a working day resolving staffing issues. They insist that by moving staff scheduling to another department they have therefore reduced workload by 70%

Man A is sick sore and tired of this erroneous figure being quoted and would dearly love to counter their argument with another figure ( management are mostly accountants and love figures) in his favour! Scheduling staff was one part of the job which at times could be time consuming,but he is now left with all responsibilities and believes his workload has in no way diminished by 70% but has increased as his opposite number has left.

He just needs a way to illustrate this in a way they will understand!

I feel bad now!
