Im having a similar fight.

Running an SLX double I just replaced my cassette and chain.

On the workstand everything works perfectly and all gears are selected smoothly. But when I actually rde the bike there is a lot of chain slipping in the larger chainring and the smaller 3-4 cassette cogs. When using the smaller chainring everything works perfectly.

Any suggestions as to where to start?

They are seosamh77 – its just this issue of an automated warning that miffs him.

He hasnt any history of absences other than the current and previous day. Both are/were genuine and he has a perfect performance record otherwise.

In all his working life he has never faced any type of rebuke or disciplinary action and I suppose he is a tad miffed at falling foul of a strict company policy at this stage of his working life!

Using (sacrificing) annual leave to avoid this penalty is preferable to him.

I think its because despite genuine illness they will have, for the first time ever, triggered diciplinary action**. Its not like they punched a blind kitten ;-)

I understand that legally you can choose to take annual leave whilst on sick leave but Im not sure if you can in lieu.

I just found a similar issue today when cleaning my bike.

I have 2011 RS Revelation RLT Ti’s with 20mm maxle and if I grip the wheel and move side to side there is a slight horizontal movement. Everything seems tight.

Built last week using mostly donor parts from a Heckler.

Mine earlier this evening.

Joined the club on Friday when I took my Soul out for its maiden voyage. Nothing fell off and Im very happy with the build.

New arrival. Reckoned my Heckler made me a tad overbiked so went for a hardtail. Hope, Revs @130, Mavic ST etc, all taken from the Heckler.

Always liked the look of an orange Soul.

Had a wee hoke and found some tips.

Added another spacer which now sits a few mm above the steerer and I pushed the HD down a bit more. Seems to have fixed it!

Just finished building mine within the last hour. :-)

Havent actually ridden it yet but pleased at how well Sally looks!

Have a bit of lateral movement in the headset though ( Hope headset with Headdoctor) Everything seems tight so would anyone have any suggestions?

Where was that filmed?

Just took delivery of a new Soul which Im currently building.

Sold my Heckler, as despite loving her to bits I was always concious that I was a tad overbiked. So sold the frame and got the Soul after a fair bit of online research!

Just need a headset and Ill be good to go!

There is something irresistible about an orange Soul.

Im going to change my 2011 Heckler for one later this year.

I have a couple of their “Climate Control” long sleeve tops and a base layer.

Excellent bits of clothing that were not expensive and have lasted well. Popular with golfers too I believe.

Start of the trail was dry as snuff. Then there was frozen puddles.

And then…..

This made it all better.
