I also was going to suggest that part , ive installed a new bb before and that parts was left on the crank from the old bb ‘didn’t notice’ so the crank was nipping up to tight , leaving it off would have the same effect .

Why not just use strava ? , endomondo has nothing going for it , but transfer all your endomondo rides over to strava .

Same as accu , I use a small food container for tools but strengthened it a bit with duck tape and also has a rubber band around it made from a bit of inner tube to keep it closed better .

why do you need to tie it down. just put it in, it’ll still be there when you arrive. I don’t really get the need to clamp and strap and tie bikes.
Chucking a bike in , + a canny size spare’s ,clothing etc , would be a mental option , take’s 2 min to whip the front wheel/seat post out and pop in the fork clamp and a strap over the top tube .

Worst thing about a astravan is the access for tying down the bike , an estate is way better for that .

You will get a bike in the van , just go buy a Saris/Thule fork clamp , I use a astra estate , same thing really and bike fits in nice.

100mm Rlt’s , you’ll need a poploc or remove the spring from the MoCo , and also a compression knob , I believe they convert to 120mm with spacers .
Its the dual air that you can’t find anywhere now .

Its the stans tape that’s a rip off , I use duck tape ,you can easily take a 10mm strip of a roll and it cost bugger all and seals spot on ..

Changing the brake pads and had the bike upside down and stupidly put my finger near the rotor ,boy there sharp ! , took most of the nail of and tip of the finger , glad to hear im not the only one who’s done it .
1979 when I was 16 i’d been through a long grass field and tried to pull the grass out of the front wheel while I was riding , hand got dragged into the front wheel and I faceplanted the tarmac , lost 2 teeth and and a broken Septum ,broken nose in English ..

My boardman pro HT 2010 has 9000+ strava miles on it + a year I didn’t record any , had a new set of rlt reba’s and a hope hoop rear , and the usual chain rings etc , take it up n down the likes of buckden pike / scarhouse / gunnerside etc etc no probs. Solid comfy bike considering its from Halfords .

I use the route builder on strava then transfer , and that’s on a edge 200 ,you’ll get a bleep at every turn point if you strsy of slightly , haven’t needed to get a map out the bag since ..
