Nice bike though, I’m lucky enough to have a the ‘ca’ version and it is truly amazing to ride.

I use gore on my commuter and they really are very good. Quite fancy the powercordz for my road bike but only place I can find them is on ebay at £60 for either a brake set or gear set. Now I like spending money on my bike but this may be too much for me unless they look particularly handsome. Do they, or do they just look the same as any other cable?

Nice warm gloves but my experience of waterproof differs markedly from yours. Shower proof yes but waterproof no. The seams aren’t sealed so its impossible for them to be waterproof. Just bought some castelli neoprene gloves and I’m very impressed.

mm tyres need topped up around once a week, on the good bike I would do this before every ride anyway. Not punctured one yet so can’t comment on repair but the speed and feel is fantastic.

Well I did buy some dhb shorts recently and went for the small after reading reviews and they were ideal.

Might give those dhb ones a go, might be worth a punt for that price.
