thanks fot the feedback guys, I went with wix as its easy to set up and plenty of options, lots of which make it easy for the visitor I believe.

CP, I know what you mean about the horizons. I need to edit them as they were my early shots with my wide angle lens and didnt realise I could rectify the distortion.All a learning curve 🙂

just come back from morzine.. we did the passport du soliel and it was brilliant. it was my second year there and both times now i stayed in the riders retreat!!

we took our own bike both times too. last year we drove and with three in a car it worked out about 180 each there and back. this year we flew and id say it was around 230 there and back with transfers, parking etc…

one seized, been told it needs a full service the second i bought second hand. Im not the original owner of the frame but do have the original invoice of sale. when i asked the shop they said it didnt matter because even with the warranty they wouldnt replace it as i would need proof of servicing which i dont have!!

thanks for the advice tho. i may unscrew it and clean/regrease to see if that helps!! not sure why but i dont touch the rear shocks. ill service every other part of my bike.

its more cuts and bashes I guess. I have a pair of hard shell ones which are great protection but I hate riding in them. I will have a look at those nukeproof ones now on the net

at the end. we came down that track to the road, then turned left and made our way up the valley onto the track and climbed back onto the top.

I didnt get through one set last year and it rained 3 of the 6 days.. I’m not heavy on my brakes though (slows you down ;)) the other lads went through 2 sets and we were going for it!! I was running hope and the other two were on avids and shimano.

Thank you.yeah its great, especially if you have a local with good trail knowledge!! unfortunately my bag strap fell over the lense on the really good rock garden section so I couldnt include it..

I now use sony vegas movie maker. only done a couple on it but it seems very good.

I live in the hills/mountains and know very well how quick things change!! Im lucky in the fact that I thrive in the cold. its the summer months i need to take care as i waste away in the heat hahaha

matt… i had my biking rucksack with me with other clothing options and i wear vans when riding!! had i known id have to carry/push as much as i did i may have put my boots on…. so please dont be annoyed as I am aware of the dangers!!! im also aware of the great work mountain rescue teams carry out and the silly mistakes made by people. hence the reason i am doing my MLT!!

last time i took her up there, it was a white out and over 2ft of snow and she swore never to go there again but i promised her it would be worthwhile 😉 apparently he legs have stopped aching today.. haha

haha.. thanks. the tent is made by rocky mountain. im about to sell it i think and get an eziawn version as we are driving out to the NordKap in december and could do with a slightly heavier duty one. they are brilliant bits of kit though!!!

ah cool. It’s more about speed than wether its an epic ride. Whilst i’m on Mull it seems only right I grab the high point 🙂
