I have recently replaced my urge enduro matic 1 with a specialized ambush the ventilation is like night and day ,and the ambush profile is not large like most other helmets not cheap at £120 but well worth the money

I think it depends on which BG engineer you get around like most trades some are good other are pants ,my sisters unvented cylinder leaked and required replacement she used BG and the most they could charge under the call out scheme was £429.00 for 2 hours plus work which includes parts ! she was very happy as the cylinder alone cost £800

17 stone 😯 here and had no problems whatsoever and for approx £120 they are a bargain

I walked half way up on Friday and was blessed with good weather although the temperature drops about 1600ft ,i am glad i tried the walk but it is a slog for a 50yr old ex smoker 😯 i would do it again but a local said try walking from the north face car park so the you end up below the stunning north face ,we did see a biker coming down on a bright green spesh so if that was you well done 😀
it was on the lower section before the zig zags but i would like to know where he joined the trail

Salsa horsethief here , brought for 1150 in the sales ,pedals well and did a few black runs at bpw ace bike keep your eyes open in the sales

I am just back from BPW with my son(6,3″) riding a large slackline with vanilla rc2 set at 160 ,i think the bike looks like a chopper but he said it was great riding down the black runs a lot faster than me on my fs ,the next day we rode cwmcarn cafall again he had no probs ,top bike 🙂

I am running a set on my horsethief and so far so good i weigh in about 105 kg and do the occasional jump/drop without any problems,only slight niggle was the rear axle coming loose but a drop of locktight cured that, also the spokes/nipples are available off the shelf unlike mavic/dt swiss ,i would recommend them

The last time i was there (2012) i remember lusting over the hire bikes in meribel, send an email to Andy/Heather at alpine ethos they will tell you all you need to know, some ace trails there 😀 wish i was going best of luck

sounds like the diverter valve is stuck/passing
