Another thought you could go into the diagnostics and ask the boiler how many times the frost stat has operated .

    peasant
    Free Member

yes ,then if it rads stops heating you have eliminated that .

Yes fitting a pipe stat would solve this ,how do you know it is the frost stat ? more often than not it is the warm stat (hot water pre heat)combined with a passing diverter valve ,to find out turn warm stat off, hope this helps .

I was in the same boat as you and was riding mainly chilterns downs bridleways etc on my FS ,I swapped it all over to a stanton sherpa mk 1 and have not looked back even spending time in the lakes on it

Was up in the lakes for the weekend visiting brother at limefit park,he had booked a cube electric bike for Sunday at 2 thought we would tag along and my son managed to demo an xl intense primer team ,they even lent him a helmet and pedals ,he did not come dressed for the occasion in his dewalt working boots and walking trousers 😀 but really enjoyed it ,I even managed to ride them both around the yard and would buy either of them at the drop of a hat if i won the lottery ,a well organised day that I must book next year .

I did my own flue liner last year with the same brush, but to get it to fit I had to cut the bristles down to size making the brush very very stiff ,there are softer flue liner brushes available to fit twin wall/flue liners

My son was just looking into buying a used car around £10k with a loan to replace a 10 yr old punto ,until he found this -https://www.centralukvehicleleasing.co.uk/vehicle/choose_your_lease/71909/mercedesbenz/a_class/a200d_amg_line_5dr.html
£130 pm with £2k down (sell punto) 8k miles a year, he likes the fact its a new car and does not have to have a £10k loan over his head I kind of agree with him 🙂
