Yup steam trains are a pest, encourage clowns to trespass on the line trying to get pics.

Wtb resolute 42 haven’t let me down, the byways were sketchy if it was wet and seemed to pick up punctures.

The life I lead means I have never met a black person, I would like to but I just don’t come into contact with anyone who is not white like me. It would hope it would enrich my life but I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

I would hate to be any sort of public figure these days, seems too easy to trip yourself up with anything to do with race etc whether you mean it or not. Even writing this could be risky.

My daughter in uni was on three and stayed in the west end Byers road, her signal was very poor, ok at one end of a street and nothing at the other, at the time there was a series of sexual assaults took place so I changed her on to Vodafone and had a good signal since.

I have other brother darl rims, surly rim strip and then one wrap of the wide black gorilla tape. Had this set up for 4.5 years no problems. Could do with cleaning or replacing my valves as they are pretty gummy with stans now. Got the tape on Amazon.

Fenix 6 sapphire, no complaints so far. I like a tool watch and it fits the bill.

The world definitely needs more staffies, all you seem to get these days cockawotzis-poos, a couple of generations on and we will be over run with fluffy things of unknown breed.

I had an annoying noise once, turned out to be too much paint an the inside of the rear drop outs, was in the old days of qr skewers.

Had my fat bike 4 1/2 years now, gets used for commuting and when I plan off road that’s too much for the gravel bike. Love my fatty, just accept you’ll be a bit slower and will smile lots at how ridiculous you feel.

The F106 Delta Dart is really starting to grow on me, pretty much well ahead of its time.
Also heard again recently about the F111 being mach 3 capable, amazeballs!

Don’t know about the Iso but my Bokeh is marvellous, Mason have made a lovely job of design, finish and the build from the barn is as good as I’ve done myself in past builds. Spot on all round.

Best to cycle between a couple of different apps as no one shows everything, I upload data to Flightradar24, they sent me the gear to fill a hole in coverage where I live. At the moment I would recommend Plane Finder app, it is showing a good selection of military aircraft these days that I find more interesting than civil stuff.

I must just be old and grumpy but modern bikes look shite to me, long and low looks rubbish, never tried one and I’m sure they are a revelation but I can’t see me putting out the cash for something that is not visually appealing. Had a mk2 Soul and it was great, changed it to a hummer and it was a looker too. Now it’s all about gravel and the occasional spin on the fat bike both look good!

Got a 6 sapphire and like it, without a chest heart rate monitor to compare it to I can’t comment on the accuracy but I have my doubts.
Only problem I have is the strap has given me a nasty little rash, I swap wrists at night to give it a chance to clear and give it some savlon that seems to be helping. Thought about getting the leather strap but garmin want funny money.
