Briliant! Loving Myface and Nboogie! Dave seems to be getting lots of mentions, as does Killer , two of mine are Clyde and Nero. A rottie called Bubbles is also pretty cool, also thought about Badger or Stimpy!

Think I’m going to have to give it a go, being a relatively old bugger it will be like getting back to my roots, before my mag21s, hopefuly won’t be just rose tinted spectacles,
    thanks all,

I think it’s an itch I’m going to have to scratch, probably just a case of riding a bit slower when the going gets rough, I think that they will improve the overall balance of the bike aswell,
    cheers PJ.

Lived in the Fort all my days and wouldn’t live anywhere else, yup the highstreet is pretty crap but that doesn’t matter, stops you buying stuff you don’t need, and there is always the internet for everything else, even if I won the lotto I’d still be here!

I’m on £24 per month, 600mins 500texts unlimited internet, payed £57 for a 16gig, if you know anyone who works for Network Rail they can get you 30 percent discount on o2, thats what I did and got my wife and pal the discount aswell, it’s all above board, you just need a railway pal, writing this on the iphone and it’s brilliant!

What’s the deal with hummers these days, have they fallen out of fashion? Does the change from litespeed to lynskey make any difference? For what its worth I love mine, a 97, 19 inch,

For me the whole point of a road sign is so that people who don’t know where they are going can find out where they are and where to go next, now I imagine that any gaelic speakers around here already know where they are so whats the point in having the signs in gaelic, I think it’s all a stunt to try and make us look twee, shortbread tins and plastic pipers, If the powers at be realy must have bilingual signs why not french or german? that would help those who realy don’t know where they are find their way about, I’m born and bred in the highlands and can trace my family right back in the west coast I don’t have a problem with gaelic until incomers try and ram it down your throat, admittedly it’s not as bad as it was a couple of years ago, rant over :0)

Give the witches trail a blast there is plenty climbing but that only means you need to come back down again great fun, and when you’ve done that there is loads to explore that used to be used for racing etc before the witches trail was made, try and ride as much as you can on the nevis range map and if you need longer fire road type riding head out and explore the further reaches of leanachin forest, don’t be put off by the climbs on the witches trail the view from the top is smashing and the decent is real good fun, there is so much more to find though, enjoy.

I still fancy putting nukeproof rigid carbons on my hummer, I think it would be a blast! Sometimes feel we are being suckered into the whole suspension thing by market forces, my old cindercone was ace rigid, but the mags convinced me I needed mag21s, supose things move on, question is have I?

Thanks all, was needing a little convincing and an iphone it has to be, nothing else seems to tick as many boxes, and no other phones are floating my boat at the moment, the summer upgrade to v3.0 should make a good difference, do I wait till summer incase a new iphone is released or just jump on now? And do I go for a 8gig or a 16gig my touch is a 16gig but so far I’ve only used about 4.5gig?

Is the battery life as bad as some posts on tinternet would suggest, or can turning down the brightness, 3G off, etc make it okish?

Ouch! Had mine 8 years only problems are the orange on the second hand has faided and it lost time, couple of minutes a week that kind of pissed me off as thats the whole point of a watch to keep time?? Wore it every day till about two months ago and have retired it to its’ box, couldn’t face sending it away for a service due to the cost and chance of losing it in the post, now using a casio g-shock, the one that is solar and gets its’ time check via the radio, spot on and deadly accurate,

It’s a 19″ the forks are talas 125 to 80 I think, getting on in years now, the frames a 2007, and the white cables are ride-on, I think I could start a new following on here for bar ends on risers, good for hand protection when the under growth gets a bit much,

I have a 95 s-works, and managed to cut out a bit of the A2Z adapter to make it fit past the weld on the drop out, though I never managed to try it with disc brakes as I bought another bike before I tried it, the s-works still gets used for kiddy duties, probably would have stayed my main bike if it had disc tabs. Lovely bike but I realy notice how geometry has changed when I ride my hummer,
    happy days,

I get to play with the ones that are in the harry potter films, and everything else that ventures on to the west highland line, fort william is best, just like a model layout, nx panel and a lever frame, great fun, especialy when it gets busy in the summer working with the steamers, freights and dmmu’s smashing!

Early 90’s can’t remember exactly, was a raleigh apex, with a girvan flex stem, pearlised purple paint, loved it though it was too big for me, sold it to a mate when I got a cindercone, cindercone was special, fitted it with mag21’s happy days, the list eventualy went, zaskar, s-works, attack trail, soul and now hummer, the s-works is still used with a kiddy seat on the back and the soul is waiting to one day be rebuilt maybey into a single speed or a winter hack? but not ridding the hummer seems a waste so it gets used for everything!

£1200 on my hummer 18 months ago, that was new, spoke nice to my lbs and got a discount, that is what swung it between a soda and a hummer, was riding a soul at the time and couldn’t decide,

As above, I’ve made 4 of my bikes now, zaskar, s-works m2, cotic soul and my hummer, loved every minute of it, find it’s all over too quick, in the haste to see how they will ride, most enjoyable experience, savour it while it lasts,
