Swapped my tyres last night had no problems with maxxis tyres and xtr crest rims. Slap the tyres on and pump. They go straight up same with xt wheel set. Like I said you need proper ust rims, no faff solution. I will never go back to tubes.

I think the clue is in the ‘fits by hand easy’. Tubeless rim and tyres, use maxxis they go up with track pump. Fit tyre and bash with hand all the way around to seat a bit. Track pump blows them up always. I then let them down and use a tyre leaver to make a gap to pour in two good cups of stans sealent. No faff with valve. Refit and blow up to 40psi and leave overnight, you will hear the tyre snap in to position. Let down to 20 front 25 psi rear, go ride. Works every time for me. Just changed my tyres and note the number of thorns I had collected and sealed with smug smile 🙂

Pretty poor management if they think they can succeed by tracking employees rather than inspiring them, get out mate they aint worth it

LUST ardent front 20psi and crossmax 25psi rear. Roll nice and has traction for all but the steepest bits downhill. Summer setup rolls nice for summer and autumn. Crossmax is not for any wet gloop ha ha

Running 120psi 72kg Zesty. Less pressure is better for me as I switch to pro pedalfor more flowy bits. If I have more pressure kinda negates pro pedal? TBH I could run it even lower according to the sag gauge.

Cut off the bottom 150mm and us that in the summer great at absorbing the sweat

ernie – I just dont think its morally right to steal. Guess from your reply you do, maybe if they had stolen your bike and it was in the flat you would find that acceptable? I think the victims of crime have a view and a right to justice and protection under the law and support from society. Therefore I see no moral dilemma. If you break the law I would report it.

ernie and piha condones breaking the law or is that some laws depending on how you feel or your own moral code? Bet it would be different if it was your roof lead or you had been broken in to? We live by the law and it applies across the country. If you dont like it suggest you move say to Naples or Sicily, lot of people there who think the same about the law. See how you feel then.

+1 about super fit down hill ability. Our Euro friends on trans alps were very nervous even on pretty easy downhill bits. I think their concept of mtb is dry skinny tyres mega climbs on fire roads and down on tarmac or vehicle tracks. I wont mention the young guy on a Yeti 575 walking down 😉 and I swear it was a simple straight down I didnt even unlock the suspension for.

I use old fashion split pins in my RX1s works just the same just make sure you bend them both ends so the pin cant fall out. Cheaper than the replacement set which comes in at about £20!

I broke my mine and its still broke but Im not in pain. Its a common decision not to operate. I have a rather ugly bulge on my shoulder but thats it. No need for a op if you dont want it and sometimes ops make things worse not better. And a bone graft is not very pleasant and involves major surgery.

I wouldn’t describe Afan well managed. Skyline diversion is a good example. Can’t see it getting any better. The extra tax payer funding will be wasted as well. It’s just badly managed, it needs a more commercial approach which the FC can’t provide.

Very easy, its well marked 4×4 track, a map is handy though for some sections. I cycled from Aveybury to Goring on Thames

Always listen to music on road and trails. Otherwise 6 or 7 hours can be a bit boring. Don’t get the ‘its dangerous to listen to music on the road’? Cars come from behind so what what could I do if I could hear them?

You need to look at the fast and slow muscle structure to see why the potential argument is wrong.

Look at sprinter – huge fast muscles. Endurance marathon type thin muscles. Muscles are formed by exercise. You want large muscles? High weights low reps. Want thin endurance muscles? High reps low weights.

If being fat and fit was an advantage then we should expect to see them on the podium. We don’t. QED.
