You notice the 1 degree difference and 20mm in travel difference? I might just add a 150mm fork to mine and it will slaken HA by aa degree I guess.

I think theirs little to choose between Zesty and Spicy. I ride 714. Both have virtually the same geometry. Can’t convince myself that extra weight would aid my riding although extra travel and a degree less on HA would be welcome. Waiting for 2012 model.

Oh and attacking some mobs from behind allows you to cut their throat in slow motion – nice :-0

There’s also stuff like I was specialising in fire and ice spells only to then read about lightning stuff being instant effect etc. so I’m now thinking perhaps I should start working on that and leave fire/ice alone for a bit.

Hey? Why? Be what you want to be. Fire ice arcance whatever. Dont be forced in to playing a build just becasue its the ‘best’. Play the one you like.

My plan is to photograph, date and note the position of each offending article and report each of them.

Lifes too short and I hope the police have better things to do

No such thing as a crap char. We all play differently. Also you can get the tusks from another location 😉 quite close to them. Makes it sense when you find them. No need to kill the wolly mammoths. Found the mob difficulty ideal so far to level 12 as a kitty cat sneak thief. I find the sneaking around and long shots with bow to suit my playing style. And I have learnt lock picking, pretty easy when you find out how.

560ti on ultra settings no issues.

53 years young HR max 174 resting average 45 it goes lower but this is the average and checked by the hospital each year as I have a pacemaker for low heart rate 🙂 I train 10+ hours a week and HRM is ideal. Maximum heart rate is easy enough. Best attained after a very good warm up maybe 20 – 30 mins or more because the fitter you are the more difficult it is to get the right amount of stress built up. I hit maybe 40 – 50 mins in zone 5 every week but rarely see a maximum 100%. You might see it during a MTB ride where your really going for it up a steep incline.

You dont need really need to worry about how high the maximum is but get worried when your HR drops below 30 😉 Talking from experience ha ha

Your not going to progress unless you train aerobic and anaerobic. Better to follow a training regime. The ones polar arent too bad, plenty of advice on the net. Also train areas where you want specific improvement. Want to go faster? Intervals etc I use HRM, gym and turbo mostly for winter and it works a treat. MTB on weekends to keep my skills up. I do tend to include more interval for short bursts of speed as mountain biking tends to need those. Long steady miles your talking fat burning and endurance 3 – 4 hour sessions. Constantly doing the same distance and heart rate will not produce any improvement. Bodies need stressing to get fitter.

Evoc is brilliant. Quick and easy to pack and unpack. Safe and secure. Obvious choice for multiple trips. Easy to pull and stable. Used umpteen times and still looks like new. You do need to pack your bike well.

Change is difficult in any organization because it requires people to chnage. You didnt get the job because the management didnt think you would bring about a change in the business. I think you need to reflect on that. Sitting back, taking copious notes and printintg off emails? Hardly the act of someone committed to moving things forward?

A lot of trails seem to have tamed by the health and safety brigade. Why I still enjoy W2 black it’s not super technical but you can get some serious speed. Cmw carn is fast to but too short.

Ah firm leaver. Mine was similar after 18 months abuse. And one side would not retract fully. They just gone off for repair. It maybe that yours are too firm after bleed or need repair? The adjuster in the handle should be able to screw them in quite close to the bar. Warning – its not a hex key but very small torq. Hex will just round off the adjuster.

Great brakes the best I have used.

You run them in board? The kink in the leaver should be where your finger goes.

Getting out of the saddle? No need as that’s aimed at improving core stability and control. Gym can I think produce the same result quicker without getting out of the saddle.

Agree TD. My experience shows that you can achieve intensive training over hour or so. Even with this type of training progression depends on intensity and some lengthening of time. I use the same method.

    Some tips:
    Follow a structured training plan
Use some form of monitoring HRM or power meter
TV and DVD will allow you to do long steady base for 2 – 3 hours. You can split the session down so long as its done on the same day
    Any training requires dedication
Turbo is very convenient warm safe
It’s brilliant for interval training – anaerobic
Training is more consistent and more intense than road
Add some gym work to help core, arms, back fitness it’s not just about legs

Ask yourself, 2 hours in the cold wet dark or hour on turbo? When the good summer returns take bike off turbo and go back to road.

For that sort of riding 160mm and slacker HA + more weight is going to slow you down going up and down not speed you up?

+1 for indoor turbo. Its great, warm and far tougher training and I think safer. No stopping for traffic lights etc. Certainly improved my cycling fitness. I have it setup in fron the TV. Polar HRM and training program and your away. I ended up buying a Trek road bike just to sit in the turbo. Clearly it can be used for a summer hack when it gets better weather.

Spicy would be a good do it all but Zesty lighter and whats 20mm of travel? I ride mainly UK so 140mm more tahn enough.

Still using Ardent 2.25 front and rear. Just running LUST at 20 psi, grips fine No issues. If you need a crutch get a HR?

    Pawsy_Bear

After riders just rinse through. Then hang it up and let the air get to it, take mouth pieces apart and store in draw. Store same way, hanging up. The air will keep it nice and bug free. Every 6 months or so I use a milton cleaning tablet and give it a good cleaning. Cheap as chips.

I do use the sugary electrolyte drinks etc

If you store it wet it will go black. Its the moisture that promotes the growth.

Run Ardent 2.25 about 20psi this time of year. Wide? Dont know but they suit my riding. I find a good wide good rolling tyre climbs better than narrow tyres. You get more traction. If you need your tyres to compensate for lack of fitness then try the thinner ones but they are more prone to puncture on rocky descents.

140mm do it all trail bike, light fast and enough travel for AM and everything in between. Remember the bike isnt a crutch. You need to add skill and ability to get the most out of it. I would say its 80% rider 20% bike. Zesty 714 here. Above all you must enjoy riding it whatever it is.

Already started putting a good base in for next year. Turbo in week to program + gym and trail mtb at weekends. Mostly trail centre because its all weather. TBH weight just needs to be stable as I need plenty of energy. Training burns a lot of calories and experience shows that your performance is a more important indicator than weight loss although being lean helps. I have a regular loop that I ride which tells me how my performance is changing in relation to training.

Get a polar HRM and you can use their online training diary and programs. Keep you honest 😉 Burn fat – long slow rides and stop eating so much.
