Yeah there is tubless repair kit very good and easy to use without taking the tyre off. Only had to use it once but the repair from flint on SDW held for 18 months until I wore the tyre out.

Up date on that link I got the Bronson, great bike, brilliant handling. Certainly no regrets. It’s been flawless and suits how I ride. If you haven’t already done so get a demo day to make sure it’s the one for you.

Climb BPW is fine but not much bang for your buck, down is over in a few minutes. If you want to spend your money I guess up lift is option but its pretty crowded

Blade is good, the old syline bit brings back memories and you can link it to W2 at the end for mega loop

Cafall and Twrch make good loop

many arent fit enough for the climbs hence they throw money at vans

Think about that failing and what you risk in injury, a new frame looks the better bet. I wouldn’t risk my health on such repair I’d go for a new frame and put the experience of buying such items off eBay behind me. It’s just not worth it.

Never done that and I have had wheels from just riding along, mavic and sram not once have they needed to go back after a few weeks for any work. Normally 12 – 18 months of riding yes they require some TLC. How do just riding along and the rest of the internet suppliers manage to provide wheels that dont need a two week tweek?

Sir Dannyh soiling his armor again, and Tim’s loud scoffing, the knights attack in force. But the rabbit injures several of the knights and kills Gawain and Ector with ease. The knights themselves have no hope of killing or injuring the rabbit. Arthur panics and shouts for the knights to retreat. Knowing they cannot risk attacking again, they try to figure out another way to defeat the beast. Call forth the Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch!

Sportive so aren’t a race, take your time and enjoy no cares who comes first or last, we often stop for lunch or coffee on the way

I’d cut my losses before throwing more money after bad. Find a large demo that and if I still didn’t like it I’d sell the frame and start a demo hunt for the bike that fitted me and my riding.

best to ask for id before you start discussions and make a note of who he is

. Less of a problem up front, but found the tyre wall creasing/collapsing just above 20psi. I only weigh 65kg too!

    what tyre?

did you demo a bike before buying? Not trying to be a smart ass but my experience has shown that no two mediums or large bikes from different manufactures are the same. They all ride different too, not a case of one better than the other, we are all different riders, shapes and sizes too. Friend came to me other day, what do you think of the discounted bike at CR? Have you ridden a demo? No, but its really big discount. Me <rolls eyes>

I run 20 psi front tad more in rear – bit lower in winter

Look around the area at similar properties to get an idea of the general price of the houses

rene59 – same as we have done before – provide bed spaces here in the UK and expert help for those desperate cases that need highly skilled care that we can provide. The RFA Argus can do little more than patch people up. Something that is arguably already available in Israel and Gaza. But considering the blockade in reality I doubt that anything practicable can be achieved. Besides there are many countries in that region that could also provide help. Our gesture might provoke a wider response of help than parking a western military ship off the coast

ernie_lynch, dont dispute that but it can be done another way Im just against such a hair brained scheme.

UK acting alone, putting UK military forces in a single RFA in harms way not to mention the cost to tax payer for ’embarrassment’ really?

Got a 2010 714 Zesty – great bike, light fast go anywhere 150mm would just extend its capabilities but I see your point. Wouldnt be a show stopper for me. My other bike has RS Pikes very good forks but the difference isnt as much as people say. Depends on your riding the Spicy and Zesty frames are the same now so its just the build bits that are different meaning you can change in the future.

Try before you buy 🙂 It’s money well spent. I tried Zesty too as part of my test. Reviews are just one persons opinion. Lots on here have opinions but not in fact owned or ridden the bikes. I demoed the SC for a whole weekend to make sure it was the bike for me.

Demo both, I chose SC Bronson C epic bike, fast and built to take the hits. Proven and reliable.

Not sure why you would need to plan routes

    avoiding dead ends, dual carriageways

The garmin will auto route avoiding them if you have set it in the GPS. I would just set the destination and let it auto route me there? You can even ask for fastest, less climb etc etc all on gps. I have used my garmin just as your proposing in France didnt need to plan a route just the name of where I was going. It was perfect for a weeks cycling moving on each day
