Agree about pushing the Bronson hard. Seems to come alive and hugs the trail

enduro? Well my version would be:

may have a number of timed bits that could include up, along and down sections
may not include any timed sections – often called a challenge
includes downhill, climbs and trails to varying degree of difficulty
tends to need physical endurance and skill
sometimes there is cut off times between sections
not seen one include laps but anything’s possible

your also taking a risk as a buyer on second hand

second hand xt rear mech for 25 quid

just how worn? If I buy new…. Besides if you change rear mech you also need to change chain and maybe then rings or it will slip. Who knows, buy cheap buy twice. I’d buy new parts like that, safer

It would also be quicker to send it to her bank account via online banking.seems genuine mistake on her part. If you use paypal normal at least u have a way of redress. So why not use it

Plenty of scams at the moment.

Look out for Norwegian bank accounts

57 heading to 58 and manage to ride most days MTB or road. I think road is the most scary, MTB quiet peaceful just you and trail

Injury is the most common problem. Any minor injury you might have shrugged off when your younger means days weeks of recovery. Gym, good diet and rest can help to stave off problems.

Had a good day at Bike Park Wales yesterday :-D. Finished at 15:00 an hour early. No point in risking it when your tired and the lights failing. Live to ride another day.

My one tip for the older ladies and gentlemen is increase your rest and recovery. One for the youngsters, if you have a poor life style now you wont be riding when your my age ;-D Its about maintaining fitness throughout your life.

    Endura II singletrack trouser
    Spesh defrosters

Keep you dry and warm and lasts season after season.

But if I could buy one thing it would be a merino base layer. Layer up with long sleeve top and ride. I’d avoid the winter gloves, tops etc they tend not to breath, you just get sweaty and cold. Layer. Take off put on.

It’s hard surfaced, we rode it a few weeks ago in the thunderstorms. It’s fine, enjoy the rocks. End bit was closed but that wS only last section. I’d certainly recommend during winter.

was thinking the same, then swapped bikes at BPW from FS to friends hard tail. Glad I did. Gave me an instant reminder of the benefits of FS. Hard tail is now off the list :-)

Yup, had the Persians beaten the Greeks western civilisation would look a lot different. It gave time for the evacuation of Athens and the battle if Salamis.

Got Garmin 800. Still going strong, very robust. I did find that having the map and turn by turn route on the road expanded my riding quite a bit. Meant I could easy plot a route and follow it without faff to those more out of the way places if your looking for motiovation. Endless new routes and you can always use other poples gpx files.

The dealers weren’t interested in warranty as bearings are consumables.

I demo ridden the large Bronson at Skyline cycles which was same size TT etc as my Zesty medium which I run with 55mm stem. I run Bronson with 65mm so it’s same reach which seems to suit my body. QED. I had put all my demo bikes geometry on a spread sheet so I ignored medium or large labels but went for the numbers angles etc based on my Zesty which I really enjoyed riding. Seemed logical first step to narrow choice. From that I demoed the four main contenders.

Not all demo and trails are going to be the same. I think as I had ride Afan quite a bit that I saw some obvious differences between the Zesty and Bronson which I liked. So there was some bias in my test

Yup I’ve googled servicing them and theirs a few that do service them. I’m swayed by :

    Price, 2k off
Has same rear 142 as my carbon wheels so easy to swap over when I need to
    Doesn’t have that link table

I would like 1 degree slacker and slightly longer TT. But I’m spot on medium Bronson so no issues.

I’d assume that 140mm for would slacken HA by that much anyway as well as raise BB a tad

    Own youtube?
    Dash cam, owns dashcam company?
Driving in the middle of the road?
    Former special policeman?

No excuse for violence or taking the law in to your own hands. I agree the lorry driver should be prosecuted but I have my doubts about the driver. Police should discuss what he’s doing with him to.

I can’t blame the trucker for getting frustrated

dosent allow him to take the law into his own hands or use violence.

Asked her about warming up. Said to do 10 mins on the treadmill (legs day) & 10 mins rower (upper body day). Then the same to cool down. Asked her about stretching & was told not to bother?! Seemed a bit odd to me.

That’s my warm up works for me. Two schools of thought on stretching, I’m in the non stretching group. Find out what works for you.

I also don’t train to destruction. I try to train at 80% of my maximum. Means I can train more often for longer which suits my requirements. Sleep, diet and rest of course are equally important.

Keep it enjoyable so that you keep coming back, music and podcasts can help.

Use the gym all year. Strength you need about 75% of your maximum weight you can lift. Then 8×6 reps. Use turbo intervals for legs. Reps are more important than weight lifted as is style. No jerking or swinging weights up.

Avoid increasing weight. Assuming you want to improve cycling power and speed. Don’t build bulk with few heavy reps. More reps at the right weight increases strength. Also lighter weight avoids injury
