Only one thing is certain, interest rates will rise at some point. Could be a few years yet but it’s coming. You do have a choiceb

Or is it, “don’t complain about Strava nerds being boring unless they are spoiling Cut Gate, in which case they’re w**kers”.

Don’t think strava has anything to do this urban myth either. Mostly inexperienced riders that’s all. Anyone never ever cut a corn or even accidentally? I’ve gone through a few

complaining about others going about their chosen sport certainly says something about you

Boost on 27.5 makes no difference. It’s only to accommodate ever widening cassettes. Plus one for gx

I wouldn’t buy a bike on its warranty but it certainly worth considering. I’m happy to get good service, yes you pay for a good service such as TF but it comes with its benefits.

I have a 2010 Zesty as well. Forks and shock are serviced regularly and after 6 years still going strong.

Look after your kit and it will look after you.

yup bearings life time. I get LBS to do it.

At the same time I had my Pike in to TF Tuned for service. They found a warranty issue (felt fine to me just a bit of top out movement), all they wanted was the receipt and the LBS got a new set of Pikes back from SRAM. Had the same with reverb. Felt a bit loose after couple years sent to importers for service by LBS (£25). Got a complete new reverb back.

    Bikes like new :-D

He writes for the Guardian, he’s probably worried about everything
He should have written a proper Guardian article, bemoaning the fact that Strava is the preserve of middle-class white males and demanding the government take action to increase it’s usage by differently-abled LBGT ethnic minorities.

    Best reply ever ha ha

18 month old Bronson frame, came to renew bearings one was X threaded. Four weeks later new 2015 frame from US no questions asked. Other bike companies may be different. All done through LBS. they didn’t even have my old frame back by the time the new one arrived. Just took mechanics word for it.

Matter of opinion on drugs, he was described as a major drug trafficker. Think we can assume it affected lots of people. There is an opinion that people like the Krays, Great train robbers etc become urban myths and their crimes are some how diminished. The victims are (always) often forgotten.

Yup agree about rehab, but there is no escaping ones past. To emerge as some down to earth geezer seems to paper over the past and give him a veneer of acceptability.

on a rockshok note, my pikes went in for first annual service last year and TF spotted warranty issue. Got a new set of forks from SRAM. I thought they were working fine ……

My stations on old fox 32 like the photo are worn but they function fine and pass service.

Flow isn’t smart, it’s just an electric brake controlled from handlebar. Smarts controlled by software

would you buy a car and not service it?

Zesty 2010 still going strong, once a year TF service. And I power hose my bikes. The Fox 32’s are looking a bit shiney and the coating has worn but they’ve just come back and will last another year. Means I get another year out of the bike too. Seemed cheap to me for a years biking

    No servicing, false economy.

2x reverb, never had an issue. One that was 3 years old went in for a service via LBS. Was working fine but needed shimming. They replaced it with a new one. Top service for £25

    youve been given good advice.

triggers for arrhythmia are viral illnesses

that’s true but the symptoms are like shortness of breath. Your heart isn’t pumping correctly and so you become light headed dizzy and short of breath. You will look grey. Resting sitting down makes it worse :-D Moving increases your HR. Its not chest pains. That’s different. I speak from experience. Mine was caused by viral infection one winter.

In all cases get checked out
