I saw a review that said the speaker struggles to pick up the ‘hey google’ command which renders it relatively pointless. We haven’t found this to be the case at all.

We had one that was like this, it was swapped for a replacement that was fine.

They are not as good as the google home mini we have at picking it up though – but perhaps that is because the mini is never up as loud.

The bass is definitely overpowering at low volumes

We bought one at Christmas when they were 60 and were so pleased with it we ended up buying 6 more when they went down to £50 for a short period so we have them all over the house and in the garage.

For the size they have a nice sound quality (if a little bassy), though the Google Home mini we have is better at detecting voices.

Definitely don’t have your breakfast before riding, afterwards is best. Otherwise you will end up being “starving” a couple of hours later. I try and leave it as late as I can, then I end up eating less throughout the day. I just have black coffee before riding and when I get to work.

I also would advise changing to water in the porridge- I make it with boiling water and cinammon. Leave for 15min and then microwave – the liquid turns more milk like.

Myfitnesspal is good, but if you can’t be bothered then start to weigh your portions of your porridge. It is quite suprising how many calories are in a small handful. I use 280ml water with 50g oats. I also put some chia seeds in from Aldi and brown linseeds from Tesco (Aldi linseeds are ground but mixed with sugary things)

Another recommendation for a new Kindle fire kids edition which includes the subscription.

Pretty much all the games my son wants to play are on it and no adverts.

If his current one is a hand me down it will be very clunky and slow in comparison to a new one.

    Alternatively the second hand Nintendo

MY son found the standard grip diameter to be too large.

Halfords sell some that we found better

The Bose ones are reduced again on Amazon – they are very good and a lot cheaper than normal

SKF did have it on their website as a case study – pretty sure you will only be able to purchase it from Rockshox though.

I have just installed Drayton wiser to all my radiators.   I am happy with it, I chose it over the other options as it was a lot cheaper, but also because it supports IFTTT.   The reviews of the latest app were pretty good as well

I had a great experience with email earlier in the year when I lent something to a friend who broke it.

Wasn’t warranty though.   I seem to remember them taking a few days to reply rhough

The Jagwire stuff looks good, but nowhere has it in stock as far as I can find.

Have ordered some of this from China

I use one of these https://k-edge.com/shop/computer-mounts/garmin-mounts/fixed-garmin-stem-mount/

I still have to remove the garmin but it means I can still read the garmin.  For me the top tube was too far back

it’s OK but nothing amazing, and slogging up a near 45 degree heart and lung busting flint covered climb for a couple of minutes of semi-decent single track isn’t fun

Try the trails on the other side of common road – the ones heading towards the rail link

I have two bikes with SRAM GX and they both have this misalignment.

I have checked with a mech hanger alignment tool and they are both aligned with the wheel.

As long as the jockey wheel bearings are okay there isn’t a problem with shifting.  When they wear out there is though

What problems did you have with the 2016 model?

    Yes definitely is 700c.

Thanks for the suggestions, the Kinlin ADHN have the look and size I am after and a reasonable price

The problem with the SRAM triggers is that the thumb is used for shifting up and down. Shimano triggers are easier as they use a finger and thumb, but then you have to change the derailleur as well

Ao.com has what I assume are old stock Miele C2s (as they are the high power motor) at a very good price £119

I am not competing, but I was concerned that if I was to go back to the Alps and accidentally kill myself bimbling down a mountain that I wouldn’t be covered. I will double check before taking out the cover though

I measure up and ordered a new O ring

For reference the following seems to work for me (hose end fits in nicely and no leaks)

    O ring is 7mm ID x 1.8mm cross section

I’d also say the sizing of the frog 52 is a bit off, as is the 55.

My son is nearly 7 and the frame size of the 52 is fine now whereas it was too long. However the cranks are now too short for him. The 55 has the same size cranks as the 52, whereas the Beinn 20L has longer cranks

I borrowed a tower that was the same as your brand Greybeard.

Wobbly and therefore too scary for me at gutter height.

I then got scaffolding put up which was much better – especially for doing long lengths in one go

Very pleased with the service and much cheaper than I was quoted elsewhere

Hmmm, how long before a manufacturer is summonsed to give the information to a court judging a road injury or fatality?

Already stored in the air bag module in the car: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/uknews/law-and-order/3197219/Driver-whose-car-killed-couple-caught-by-black-box-at-113mph-court-hears.html

GO to Halfords today and get a couple of bike boxes to put the bikes in? My local one let me have a couple out of their cardboard recycling.

Then bin when you get there and find some more over there before flying back

I have the pump as well, so the CO2 can is going into that.

I have a genuine innovations mini tubeless repair kit which is tiny.

Will have a look at Halfords – thanks

I did mine with a DA sander and then revarnished. Looks pretty rubbish as the areas that were previously damaged still look damaged.

I think it really all needs to come off (ie hire in a floor sander) for it to look good

Every diesel I’ve had remapped has improved fuel consumption afterwards, I think its because of the increased torque & wider spread that means you don’t have to change gear as often.

You get better economy as they switch the EGR off. The EGR reduces NOx emissions but gives a fuel economy penalty.

If they are hobbiest machines I think you will find ebay will offer the highest price.
