It’s a good price if you have ratchet LN wheels with the wrong freehub

Cant be used for a conversion though as you would need the inner ring that fits to the hub as well as the ratchet pieces

My 3 pawl DT 370 didn’t need touching in the 5 years I used them

To upgrade to ratchet you have to buy a Ratchet LN upgrade and remove the outer ring from the hub.

I found that the 3 pawl had more engagement than the 18T bottom end ratchet

That’s an impressively niche product. How many kids are there who weight 20-40 kg, want a dropper post, and have a frame with internal routing?

Those who bought the Vitus 24 and 26″ MTBs!

I had been riding the same Cotic as a winter bike and changed to the Spectral 125 in the Spring

I now don’t enjoy the Cotic due to the small wheels and geometry

If yours is the one with Fox 36 Rhythms – mine had lots of grease in the airshaft and I found it a lot better after reducing the amount and playing with the sag.

However it is a slog to ride uphill on a big ride – trying to get it to track straight gives a much bigger upper body workout than previous bikes I have had.  However most of my riding isn’t like that so its a nice compromise for me.

A friend has the new Neuron – that is probably the bike you are looking for (if sticking with Canyon).  All feel very different to your Soul though.

I guess one option is for you to pickup a frame and swap your Canyon parts over?

Is it a 1x shifter type lever or the cheap crappy 2x levers (more like the original reverb style)?

    paulwf

What sort of lever did it come with?

Does anyone know how it works if I wanted to take 2 children?

It says 10.50+ pedal pass – so is that £27.50 for a 11 yr old?

Shops will have to move to making money from services which can’t be sold cheaper on the web.

Even that’s not so easy now assuming. There are a lot more pop-up bike mechanics working from their garage advertising on our local Facebook groups. ‘Free’ home collection or repair from van. Much lower overheads and cheaper prices

Someone commuted past me on one the other day. Haven’t seen one for years, it was also my first ATB

I’d disagree with the comment tbat weight does not matter.

My 12 year old has a 27.5 specialized pitch for commuting to school which is about 15kg and a 26″ whyte 405 with dropper for MTB which is just under 12kg.

It makes a huge difference for him to lift the front wheel or to wheelie as a lot of the weight is the front wheel and fork. Perhaps some if it is geometry though, the pitch is a small adults bike whereas the Whyte is kids sized modern geometry bike

You will get worse economy with cruise control than using a very light foot

Particularly poor economy on one journey or two consecutive journeys can be due to the vehicle doing a regen on the DPF.
If it doesn’t complete in one journey, or reduce soot to below a threshold then it will start again some way into the next journey.

With an old DPF it will have a load of ash inside it, so the regen will be occuring more frequently than a new or cleaned DPF as the filter cannot hold as much spot. This will cause economy to be worse than a new car

I have one of thisntype, the mounting is often a bit awkward and it looks like it may break easily but has been fine

Hidden within the account section of the eBay site is a request your data. It takes a few days to arrive, however it tells you everything you have bought and sold on eBay.

I was pleasantly suprised as to how little I had spent over 20 years

Certainly the other Endura stuff I have got this week has been huge, the medium trousers were more like a large, fortunately I also ordered the smalls

A friend bought some Shimano combined flat bar brake lever/shifters (21 speed) to fix an old hybrid.

Clearly fake, the seller refunded immediately he complained.

They didn’t have the reach adjusts, and were much poorer quality than the seized ones that he already had

It’s a beautiful place, however we have been twice in August and it’s been single digit temperatures and very exposed and blustery.
    No midgies at all.

To me a fortnight would be too long, no shop nearby

Those of you with MTB leadership qualifications – what age riders can you take out? Can you take them to trail centres and bridleways?

Our Go-Ride a has a road riding pathway for the older riders, but those only interested in MTB/Gravel/CX riding tend to just stop coming as they get older as we can’t offer them anything.

Is your T6 in warranty? I just had the engine software updated at the dealers due to DSG poor behaviour and it is a lot better now.
In the past I had an air-cooled VW van and an E class estate. I couldn’t go back to the E-class, the suspension was better though.
I had the V6, so the economy was about the same as the T6 anyway. Estates are often quite low, and it often used to scrape in the parking areas for outdoor places.

Looking at the pictures of the snypers I don’t think they are. The lowers are different as are the adjusters and crown

I just received some for my daughter’s Orbea
    They weigh 1660g.
I made an offer at 10% less and then used a 15% eBay voucher

Aye, Garmin leave a night janitor on

A friend does actually have a job like that – on call if unusual amounts of traffic indicates something has gone wrong.

had a dispatch confirmation email yesterday afternoon stating delivery today. Just had an email from UPS saying the order is delayed.

I have the same – I guess they got stopped before UPS collected.
It’s no longer on my online credit card statement either.
Never mind, I needed a new watch as the battery on mine doesn’t last now – however it wasn’t really the watch I wanted anyway

Thanks for the replies. I have ordered a complete seal kit for £30. I was struggling to find complete seal kits with wipers as well as internal parts – it looked like I was going to have to spend £50 on seals, for which I might as well send off, but that is over £100 by the time you add shipping – so I thought why not just get a new fork.

I will keep an eye ou, as I am still keen to get a new pair as I dislike the dual airs

Have you tried getting it to learn your fingerprint in the morning as an additional print?

Unfortunately I expect one of two things has happened
    – buyer damaged the crank you sent them
    – buyer damaged their crank, so bought your one so they can then get a refund by falsely claiming it is damaged.

I guess you can demand they send it back (eBay will help you by giving a return label if they request a return) and then you can video reopening it and hopefully the crank they send back is not the one you sent them.
eBay may side with you, but probably wont

An asbestos surveyor told me that is extremely rare to find asbestos loose fill in houses in the UK. The HSE reply to this FOI request seems to conform that

I did my first cx race (East Kent) at the weekend and really enjoyed it.

I currently have 35mm WTB Crossboss tubeless on my Stans grail rims, but they seem really wide compared to everyone else.

I suspect I probably need narrower tyres for when it gets muddy – any recommendations for good value tubeless tyres?

I always found that I had to use a battery charger on the leisure battery to get it charged fully.
Otherwise it didn’t last very long. The guy at the battery shop told me that they take a long time to charge, so driving to charge isn’t good enough

    30% off code with upgrademe

I have just gone for a pair for my sons bike. Was going to go with novatec/crest but these will be a good upgrade compared to the stock Orbea rims on his bike
