I have seen similar on some Clarke’s brakes where the pad spring was too strong and pushing pistons back kn

Put a solid spacer in without pads to check if it still does it

Mine were harsh, as others have said they generally have too much grease on the airshaft that stops the negative chamber working correctly.

After cleaning it and replacing with a tiny smear they are loads better

Shimano sell their cranksets in 3 variations of chainline, and each one has a different Q factor.

    172mm Q factor 52mm chainline M7100

    178mm Q factor 55mm chainline M7120

    181mm Q factor 56.5mm chainline M7130

You probably need a M7130 for your bike.  It seems even on the Shimano Megas, nukeproof never speced a Shimano crankset.

My Canyon spectral came with a M7120 – with a 73mm bottom bracket shell and 2 24mm spacers on the crank axle

Check the part number of the drive side crank.

Beetles have gained popularity in the past few years. People with campers have bought modern vans, yet want something aircooled

Aircooled camper prices have reduce in the UK as you can’t sell LHD ones to Europe as easily

    It’s a float X, just over a year old.
Needs body, sleeve and eyelet. Not warranty as dirt ingress

Treated better than shocks I have had in the past that never needed any expensive replacement parts.

Probably shouldn’t have bothered getting it serviced, just done an air can service

It has been up this week as I wanted to order a headset.  I hadn’t got round to measuring the head tube until today.  I am hoping it is a temporary glitch

Out of your list, only the rock hopper elite has an air fork.
The coil spring ones are the best part of 3kg that won’t do anything. My 12yr old son has a coil fork on his school specialized and he can hardly get any travel out of it at all

How tall is she? All those bikes are very heavy.

My tall just about to turn 10 had a Orbea MX24 team disc at that age with rigid fork.
The wheels were really heavy so I upgraded those.
I then put an air fork into it when she was 8.

Last summer we upgraded her to a Vitus nucleus 26, small enough that she can move around on the bike and fairly light

Her love of cycling really came from the lightweight hybrid islabikes she has had for commuting and road/gravel rides. We have had a variety of used Beinns.

    Lightweight means easier to ride

Every time I’ve used one the mechanism tends towards “trap and fold” rather than “eject”

My children manage to eject it onto their plates.  Doesn’t work with all bread, but it does fire it towards you.

I am sure at some point the leve will snap

I have overcooked my putoline then 🙁

Did you continue using it or ditch it?

It seems to work, but is more claggy than I expected

Whilst we camped at Durness, friends stayed at Kinlochbervie as it was the nearest place that had a few B&Bs.

The owners told them that many of the B&Bs hadn’t reopened as they can’t get the Eastern European seasonal staff

    Why not a boostinator?

I have used one, was easy to redish and the spacer fits nicely

I just had dispatch note for a NS Majesty frame and 26″ Enigma Roll wheels and an Eccentric Cromo frame all at £11.99 each

Did you get them? I got a dispatch note, but they never tracked with Parcelforce.
    Just had a refund notice

Looking in eBay some people received them, one guy with a huge pile of wheels

    Yes, that will work fine.

Only MTB. The 11s road ones are slightly longer

Unless your current freehub has ratchet written on it, that won’t fit anyway

    I have used these on my children’s and wife’s bikes – https://www.sourcebmx.com/products/jet-bmx-square-taper-race-cranks?variant=31801814974575

Going with these on my son’s new bike – https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006018474460.html?spm=a2g0o.order_list.order_list_main.10.2db818024UziCJ

I am using with a Shimano BB – you have to trim the end of the axle down or use an axle spacer.

Is there anywhere that I can send my lowers to have it done by post?

Just need to find myself a 50m roll of SP41 for less than the £89 Woolly Hat Shop are selling it for via eBay:

There are 300 metre reels of it on ebay, though they don’t look as convenient as the 50m reels.  I guess they are for bike assemblers rather than shops servicing

I got wheelsets, one 29″ boost and one 27.5″ non boost in rainbow colours.  Bargain!

I almost bought a frame, but I don’t have any 29″ forks and I have only just built a 27.5″ hardtail so I saved my money (the frames had the £20 postage charge)

I’d sell it broken with the battery.

Most battery’s can be repaired with cell replacement

Thanks, I bought some XM481 as well.

I am after some rims for my 12yr olds Ragley build, XM421 looked good but aren’t reduced in 27.5. The other option in 25mm inner are the X432. Will be using with 2.35 tyres

One thing to keep in mind is that ebay themselves have an algorithm to detect whether you are trading or not.

If they think you are a trader, then they will force you to change to a business account.  Low volume business accounts don’t get the same deals that private sellers get

Using “ragley” as a search term shows it isn’t often used as this guy is trading in marked up bargain Wiggle parts and breaking up bikes https://www.ebay.co.uk/usr/jayswheels

“eBay allow you to export data including the payments from eBay”

Whereabouts is this? I can’t find it anywhere

There are two ways of getting an export from Seller Hub (if you haven’t turned on seller hub, then you might not get the option.)

I am only interested in the net proceeds that ebay have paid to me (ie after their fees, not including postage).

To get that information you have to go to Performance and Sales  and then choose Sales.  Then select the date range and generate a report against the same period the previous year.

Then where the report is, you can then click download and it will give you a sales report.  How many of each item and the value of sales

I have sold quite a lot on eBay since covid, a few things trading but mostly items that i no longer need to clear the years of clutter from different hobbies.

I keep a list of the items I list that are purchased to resell.

eBay allow you to export data including the payments from eBay (ie after their fees). I regular export between dates and go through it and mark it in a spreadsheet whether each transaction was trading or not. I ensure I keep under the £1000 turnover limit.
For items that are not trading I put a small comment as to why it isn’t

I haven’t been asked for the information before, however I expected to be questioned at some point.

It doesn’t take too long to do.

In terms of whether they believe me, when selling my own personal used items I very rarely sell more than one of the same thing.

I got some of these for my son. They need the axle trimming slightly if you use with a Shimano BB. Use SRAM direct mount chainrings.

Quite a few people on MTBR and Facebook kids MTB pages have used them

The Q factor is very wide compared to gravel cranks though. I think gravel are 151mm and these were more like 175mm

My neighbour fixed a similar one from inside, he didn’t have any felt though so was easy to spot the missing one.

Can the Lyrik ultimates be reduced in travel to 140mm?

Some things they seem to increase the price when there are one 1 or 2 left.

I’d have thought they would want to get rid of all of them so they don’t have that item to store any more

Anyone seen any decent 27.5 wheelsets in the sales?

I think most of these were all sold off cheaply in the past – I have been looking as well

Nothing wrong with the frames. It’s a comment on UDH… they aren’t sacrificial hangers like we’re used to.

I’d disagree.  The plastic bit snaps and the mech goes backwards.  You can straighten up and ride home before replacing.

Happened to me twice – lot of ash die back clearing in Kent so lots of debris on bridleways

It’s normally because there is something in your basket that they can’t ship – happened with the tentboxes and ridiculously cheap exped matts

I tried to place an order of some components last night and again this morning and they now won’t deliver to our address in Devon which has been used many times in the past.

Did you weigh the wheels?  The reviews I read (which meant I didn’t buy them) put them as being more like 2150g
