i have a brand new 2012 heckler frame in gloss blue totally unused id let it go for around 900 retail is 1099£ maybe of interest to you maybe not just thought id plug it, i notice that someone above mentioned the ariel , i cannot rate them highly enough a fantastic frame but a touch on the heavy side in comparison to some of the others mentioned

The I stubble, expensive but unbeatable IMO Argos had it half price recently,

I’m pretty sure the ends are larger on a reverb I’m sure that same company do a reverb specific kit though

I’ve used elixirs for years and can’t fault them, bleeding is fine once you have the hang of it, I only asked as I am thinking of buying some cr’s and didn’t know if there were an differences between the front and rear brakes or if it was just hose length.
Looks like its just hose length so I shall go and buy and hopefully all will be good cheers

Crc do some goodridge hose but it doesn’t state what brakes there for I imagine each brake uses a different sized hose

Bit of a hijack but currently have an ariel 3 ( there great by the way ) it’s a 17 inch I’d like to move to the next frame size up would any one consider swapping or is anyone selling a large frame ?

I have a zinns book you can have its battered and bruised but it’s the bible for beginners really I used it religiously when I started building a couple of years back, simple things like removing play from your headset via starnut and stem can seem like rocket science till you learn how this book makes it all pretty simple.

Bottlerockets look cool, particuarly your new one, Nike I like the idea it’ works well as shorter travel bike as well

Yeah was just reading about the rear ends hopefully if they havnt failed by now they should be ok I guess, becoming quite interested in one of these

I would keep your chainset and buy x7 shifters at on one £37 last time I looked xo front on one £28 and x9 rear mech crc about £45 also 10sp chain kmc at on one £15 shop around for cassette

Anyway I’m no expert but do buy and sell a fair bit through the classifieds, I’ll assume everything is in good condition, please bear in mind these are only my opinions and could fetch more or less.

I ride Cannock quite a lot and love it, I also like riding more natural terrain as well and get up to the peaks occasionally but it’s a fair drive an an all day affair so would just be nice to find another local spot to mix it up a bit as I- ache says.
