Ive now decided to put her up for sale and hedge my bets going to get a silly light ss rigid and a meta 5 I think to cover all my riding bases.

I think I’ve been a little naive having never owned a short travel bike since my first rockhopper.
All the bikes I have owned since were 140 150 travel bikes which I had convinced myself (never weighed) were about 30lb in reality were probably a chunk more.
I have just taken it out skiing around cannock and I have to say im mightily impressed and it does feel both sprightly and capable.
I do appologise if it sounded at anypoint like i was whinging about its weight, I wasnt. I just imagined it would be lighter, that being said it does sound like a good weight from what you guys are saying.

yep i know the seatpost weighs a chunk, was pretty sure the wheels came in pretty light though

i actually bought the frame of here second hand but had just had new bearings and a respray at orange, have to say wasnt sure on colour but love it now. to answer the question i think its a custom colour.

cheers shindiggy im not worried about the weight just expected it to be a chunk lighter with the spec and when i picked up the frame it felt mega light.

ahh teasel what you cant see from the picture is those bars are a metre wide and the cable is needed ( either that or im a lazy sod and havnt bothered to shorten the cables yet) 😆

Definatley going to have a crack going to post a wtd ad for frame forks and brakes so let me know if any of you guys have any bits.

Anything I may need to know about rigid forks before I buy ?
