    Sorted.
    ‘t’was but a setting tick-box thing.

Thanks for flagging it (and your, as always, entertaining pictures)

I’ve had people tell me of their pain in using MrSite (often they add a h to his name).

If you go down the WordPress route (what we use for STW) be careful of installing themes from the web. Follow this advice

    Form design is painful!
While it won’t help you with the CSS this book/blog is good

We’ve had a long term problem with spammers resurrecting old threads. It was causing lots of work for moderators and staff here at Singletrack.

We decided to close all threads over 1 year old.

It’s not a perfect solution I know. However in the circumstances we had no better solution.

The option to open a new thread on the same topic is still there and that way your posts won’t be on page 5.

Right – I’ve looked into it. Seems like this facility was being abused quite a bit in the past so It was disabled. We didn’t remove the existing innocent URLs, hence the discrepancy.

Users can still access your personal website by viewing your profile and this way the target url is clearly visible before it’s clicked.
    eg: http://www.singletrackworld.com/members/jon1973/%5B/url%5D

    Hope that makes sense.

I’ll look into it as soon as I get a chance and post back here.

I’ve got a Bumper Explorer Solo. Good for the price. Shame the wheels don’t come off easily as it makes it a bit tight in the boot of the car and rules out taking it on camping holidays. also the front rain cover is a poor fit.
Still I’d recommend it it you can’t afford the expensive ones. It seems a lot better than the Halfords ones.

    Yes,
It’s my fault. Thanks for pointing it out. I’ve fixed it now so if anyone is still seeing oddities just refresh your browser.
