I planted a willow about 12 years ago and that’s about 2 metres tall. It was grafted so wont really get much taller but is perfect as it stops us looking directly into the front door opposite.
The dense mass of branches mean it still provides cover after it loses its leaves in the autumn.

I recommended a Sureflap to a guy at work. He came in Monday morning and told me it had been a nightmare trying to ‘register’ the cats microchip….turns out that rather than installing it in the door first he was chasing the cat around the house trying to lower it over her head!

Sureflap here too. Rechargeable AA’s last about 3 months and it’s not too noisy.
    I’d get another one.

My highly rated independent charges not far of half the main dealer per hour. They are all VAG trained and have access to the manufacturers online system to update the service history.
I finally lost faith in main dealers when they told me the service bill for my Golf would be substantial as it needed a cam belt change – I had to point out it had a timing chain.

The ACC unit on my Golf could get knocked out of line (never happened to me), dealers can realign them.

I was in a similar position. Wife was carried into court and claimed that she couldn’t walk therefore couldn’t work and wanted 100%. Judge told her to go outside and rethink her position and ended up getting 50% which I believe is normal when no kids are involved.
No idea why the judge did that, I can only assume she saw her walking across the car park.

But I do find it odd that a member of the royal family went clubbing (or more recently to a Pizza Express) and almost no-one seems to remember these events?

I’ve been thinking exactly the same. I’m not the least bit “star struck” but on the odd occasion I’ve seen a comedian/news reader/TV show host/motorcycle racer I do still remember where i saw them just because it’s not the norm. I may not recall the date but I reckon I could make a rough guess at the year.
I’m staggered that no one has come forward (or maybe I’m not!)

My son recently used one of these online providers. There was some confusion as the description didn’t match the picture (which had more extras visible) but the car delivered was the one in the picture. I have to say it’s stunning the only problem being that having payed £25 for fuel it was delivered empty but that has since been refunded.

Potentially the same here,I get my scan results Thursday.

I wore them for 10 years without any issues, yes the first hour or two took some getting used too so I’d suggest not driving to the opticians (or wait until you get home before putting them on).

    MG TF or Audi TT.
Good TF’s can be had for reasonable money and spares are available.

Just done episode 3 and really enjoying it so far – it’s different with some subtle funny bits. Having read the comments above I’m not feeling confident about episodes 4/5!
I’m guessing it was made on a low budget but I dont think that’s spoilt it.

I will admit to having a private plate but in my defence it was purchased because I had an an American car with restricted space for a plate so needed 6 digits to (almost) maintain the correct font.

My first thought was to get one of my dads old plates from the 60’s as he had a thing about Rover P4’s but they are both still in use – one a Bentley and the other a Porsche.

We feed the cats using plastic bowls that are 6″ in diameter. Mrs P in her usual mad rush ordered some more on Amazon – we now have 6 cat bowls that are 1.5″ in size……enough for a quick snack maybe.

My mum used to collect miniature whiskys but she always drank the contents and then refilled them with cold tea – I’m guessing that didn’t do a lot for the value.

220g goes in and about 185g comes out

I’m impressed that you measure it. My wife doesn’t even like me weighing bike parts on the kitchen scales

Mrs P has spent the last 12 months rolling out chargers to all of her offices. These are meant to be top-ups (mainly for site visitors) not your main daily charge. What’s actually happening is that users are treating them as ‘their’ charger and don’t like moving their car at lunchtime. In one example a site has 2 charging points and until recently only 2 users….but now the 3rd new guy is being frozen out. I’d suggest communal flats could end up with the same problem.
As for usage costs the provider does it all through an app which takes the money direct from each users account, obviously this needs to be set up in advance.
They installed 7kw chargers for the first phase but will be upping that to 11 for phase 2.

Our Beagle currently has Acana dried mixed with either Butchers tinned or sardines, gets fed twice a day. If we have any leftover cooked veg that goes in too.
We are trying to change to Akela (because its British and hopefully has a smaller carbon footprint) but it’s not so easy to get locally and we have to think ahead and order it in.

He clears the bowl in about a minute so he must think it’s good!

If Masi loses his job, how on earth can the FIA allow the results of the last race to stand – sacking him is a total admission that what he did wasn’t right.

Promotion or a sideways move, avoids any issues around recent events.
This won’t happen overnight and they now have time to quietly roll something out before the start of next season. It appears the process has already started with the appointment of Peter Bayer as Secretary General for Motorsport who will no doubt have his own ideas for the shape of his team going forward – expect to see more appointments.

This shows how much these things vary geographically.

Very much this. Our Virgin broadband has been pretty much bulletproof for many years but the last 12 months have been difficult. The messages I see seem to indicate power issues at the main hub in the local town, had a few downtime periods recently for “network upgrades” and everything seems ok again.
Definitely check locally on what quality of service people are getting.

Only had the standard Co-Op ones so far and they were underwhelming to say the least.

I recently added two rooms to my house, no intention of relocating as I really like the area and the neighbours (we have our own mtb club!).

I’m confident the value of the house has risen enough to cover building costs (as a minimum which is all I care about).
I was lucky enough to have the money in the bank but effectively earning zero interest so putting it into the building is a better investment.
The house looks better – it had a tatty greenhouse there before.
It’s made a big difference to how we live our lives because it’s more useable and its warmer.

As long as you dont go over the top it will make its money back and be more saleable – but until that day comes sit back and enjoy it, I wish I hadn’t waited so long before starting ours.

Absolutely the right decision under the current rules but probably time that team were held responsible for car related issues and the driver for on track discrepancies.
Would need some thought to prevent teams giving their driver an advantage in exchange for taking losing constructors points or a financial penalty.

Co op sell a Firecracker Cauliflower in the chilled cabinet, basically half a cauli covered in a spice paste – just needs roasting for about 35 mins. Might be worth buying one because it must be quite easy to copy it at home.

I work for a company that is into “big data” and we are seeing the same thing.
Our problem is that we recruit graduates on a fairly low wage, at first they are happy because it is a great place to work with a big percentage of the workforce in their early/mid 20’s however after about two years they realise they want cars/houses and move on. Not helped because historically internal progression has been limited.
On the upside at least they have recognised the above and are trying doing something about it but that is only driven by it being so difficult currently to recruit.

I use Mechanix CW Original Insulated gloves. Not bulky and water resistant, about £24 usually found on airsoft/military clothing websites.
Suede like palms so lots of feel on the bars.

I agree with most of the previous comments. I don’t understand why sizes vary so much to the point that I dread buying clothing online.
I’ve mostly switched to Decathlon because they have some pretty usable kit at reasonable prices (because it is going to get snagged etc) but I can try it on instore.

I too have some Endura shorts that seem bulletproof (and true too size) but they are at least 8 years old so cant comment on the current stuff.

For me it comes down to who you can imagine looks like they would actually kill someone and that has to be Connery/Dalton/Craig.
Moore was great as a tongue in cheek Bond but not a killer (his true role was always The Saint).

Cheapest Argos deep fryer and roughly every 2 weeks.
My problem is I ride twice a week in the late evening and dont feel doing much to the bike when I get home (that sort of thing gets done after sundays ride) so I give the chain a quick dry with a cloth then spray with motorcycle chain wax to see me thru to the weekend.

I replaced ours a couple of years ago with modern doubles that had connector fins fitted down the middle which basically doubled the outputs, suited my house but may not suit yours. I had two rooms where I didn’t want to alter the pipework and used chrome extension pieces from the local “proper” plumbing shop. They come in 10mm increments and fit straight on…only cost a few pounds.
So if the new rad is 60mm smaller you just put a 30mm spacer each side.

Remember that if a school has low/average marks but a new(ish) headmaster then he/she will be focused on turning that situation around – could be a good time to get onboard.
For me the way the head comes across would be a big factor.

Does it have to be direct mount? I fitted a Cannondale Hollowgram Ai Spider for XX1 to my bike and now use any 76bcd chainrings I want. It also means I can swap rings without removing the crank.

I had one of those lone star Luger’s but was was chrome, much prefer the more original look in that link.
My favourite was a 38 Special but it didn’t have the normal cap roll instead you loaded a plastic ring – a bit like loading the real thing.

EDIT Quick Google and realised they were called Super Disks.

My son is in the process of buying through one of these online sites. He wants a particular model/extras and it was the only one currently available he could find.
They are claiming it has 18″ wheels (confirmed verbally) when the pictures show 19″ so it will be interesting to see what turns up.
Only downside so far is that they want you to be available all day for delivery and he cant do that so not sure what they are going to agree on.

Fuel pump makes an unpleasant noise though

In a modern diesel doesn’t the fuel lubricate the pump? I think I’d be filling up a bit sooner.
