my friend has a broken yo eddy hanging in his work shop. i think i spend more time looking at that then the new stuff he makes.

what spring weight i you using now?

ride/push a couple of the enduros and then decide if you need another bike.
i rode the mega coarse on a single speed, 24 inch wheeled, 100mm travel, hardtail.
(short notice trip and my dh bike was getting refurbed and i didn’t want to miss out )
people thought i was mad. didn’t set any records but i got down it. i could barely walk to the pub in the evenings tho

edge weren’t the first either! canondale was the first example of multi link bike i can remember, i’m sure somebody did it before them. canfield brothers have been making ml bike for a long time. not the same as a dw link but trying to achieve the same thing.

there’s a lot of dw link haters around?

there’s plenty of suspension designs, that will suit some and not others.

slx are stronger than xt. but i’ve never broken xt so wether that matters…
and they work great! when the bb dies i’ll put a chris king/hope bb on it. slx x ck, the shame :D
ccdb, (second hand off here).bos (cheaper than a 36) upgrades improve the bike a lot more than a set of cranks.

i’m guessing if he was self employed he works in the construction industry. me to, i know how hard the last couple of years have been. it’s never good waiting to get payed! if at all!

i’ve just had a clear out. sold a few bits. everything was posted the day after i got payment or on monday if i got payment over the weekend. i treat people how i wish to be treated! that goes for the piss takers as well.

personally i wouldn’t send money off to someone who only posts on the classifieds. wouldn’t of helped with llyons though. if i wanted it that bad i’d go meet them.

i’ll always offer help. stopped on the mega for someone who needed a five mm alan key. why the **** would you go into the mountains with out basic kit is beyond me.
also stopped on dirt merchant for a fella who had a ten inch, very deep gash (finger deep) on his leg, claret every where. surprised me how many people slowed, looked but offered no help. me and another guy held it together while waiting for the mountain ambulance to turn up.
i saw the fella with the gash in the bar the night after. asked how he was, he brought me a jug of beer. :D

depending on what grip?

if they have a sealed end, they normally have a small hole, attach tp to the hole. fit open end of grip to end of bar, and then pump. grip expand a little, slides/burps on/off on a cushion of air. remember to block the other end of the bar.
on grips with an open end put the head of tp into the grip. squeeze hand around grip and head to make a seal. the rest is the same as above
