Jazz is a good choice but I doubt you’ll get one for that price… :/

I’m not a fan of the puma personally unless its the sports version with wide arches an big engine.

A Fiesta 1.25 zetec on about a W or X reg would be bang on, I think you can probably get a focus on that money too if you’re after something with a bigger engine, great they are. probably your best option, cheap to fix, big boot etc…

like pretty much everyone else has said… If he’s a mate he won’t mind, it is unreasonable to expect you to spend that much! As if 1K+ is an amount of money that doesn’t actually register as money… oh to be a banker.

@ Hora yes you should! but not the latest shape, it has to be the EP3. or a JDM FD2. just the best… teh mkvi golf GTI comes close because f it selectronic slip dif thingy… but I’d go for the civic. I currently own the UK FN2 and its shit… however those first ones were animals.

ooh i had a 106 rallye… so much fun… shame it fell apart.

without a shadow of a doubt the best car I have owned was a civic Type R… much better than the golf GTI mkv1 I had after it.

like northwind i took up cycling in place of skating street….too many big impacts have left the inner workings of my legs in tatters, not to mention missing teeth, broken ribs, clavical, toes, ACL, wrist etc… they seem to be getting better though and I actually went skating the other day first time in years, and was fine, i still skate ramp all the time though and ride at least twice a week.

gentle riding has got me better and now I’m trying bigger and more gnarly stuff which i was afraid of before.

yes thats very true… the back seats in the touran aren’t fit for adult sized people.

i have tested the Smax 140 and teh VW touran 140 the touran is way nicer.

not quite as many toys for the money but its just nicer.

there are good elements of the scene but I lean toward the more ‘dubby’ end of the genre… no gay high pitched voices or crappy vocals.

Ah ok, a case of the green eyed monster… I get that all the time, bike envy its a bitch.

My musical sensibilities lean toward garage punk, bands like turbonegro, operation Ivy, fugazi, stupids, All, ramones, pissed jeans, **** up, could literally go on all day. But saying that I used to play out a DnB nights in brum and coventry and love proper hiphop too like wutang, jedi mind tricks, quest, klash nek off, Jay electronica, Gangstarr, the roots, and on and on and on the list goes.

I only enjoy playing with friends competing makes me sad… cos I lose.
