mollski, I am not arguing which one is better, I am just wondering why a MTB forum is starting to be dominated by road bike threads.

Maybe the mods should consider splitting the Bike forum into MTB and Road :?:

Someone needs to work on their weight shift when braking.

The first step would be getting rid of that tiller of a stem, the rest of the bike appears to be a week and a half behind it.

Maybe for cx due to mud on the rims but why on a road bike?

I just cant get on with 26 inch wheeled bikes. I bougt a shockwave from Halfords at Christmas but it just feels so sluggish and hard to accelerate compared to my 29er.

The 80mm of suspension seems almost rigid and the bike is so heavy compared to what I am used to. If that was’t bad enough it turns corners like a barge; although maybe its just the tyres.

I think I’m going to sell it as 26 inch wheeled bikes just dont seem to suit me and I’ll make sure I share my brief and unfavourable experience every time 26er thread pops up on STW.

    2) Anyone who says a 29 inch front wheel is like having a 80mm fork on a 26 inch wheel is WRONG

Who ever claimed that is smoking the same crack as the OP

    Here you go:

Biodiesel fuel is also known to cause problems with some conventional diesel engines. These include carbon deposits on fuel injectors, excessive wear on piston rings and clogged fuel filters. Biodiesel fuel can also reduce the viscosity of the engine’s oil, thereby requiring more frequent oil changes to keep the engine properly lubricated.

Think it seeps past the piston rings and dilutes the oil in the bottom end killing the engine if you dont change your oil regularly.

VAG engines specify no biodiesel use.
