I slipped 2 discs last week. Had them pushed back and I’ve been on rest for 7 days no more than 30min sitting then a short walk around. Rest and keeping it moving without stretching or putting load on it is working so far.

The Orbea Rallon I got has shifted what I think I can do on a bike to where I’m attempting things I’d of walked before. It has resulted in 2 slipped discs for Christmas though.

My local shop does club/shop rides. Same sort of riding I do and some more challenging. I look what others are riding and try a few out. Free test rides good laughs and business for the shop.

Find a wooded hill on a map go for a ride. Climb said hill constantly looking for interesting looking tracks off to the side. Always find it good fun spending a day getting navigationally challenged and and going down badger tracks to dead ends.

It’s on my list of potential adventure and commute bikes. Not found one to go look at yet tho

My gx mech shit it’s self after 500km sent it for warranty replacement. While I waited I went nuts and replaced it with xtr. No more problems sold the replacement so will never know if it was any better.

The jockey wheels on my sram 11spd are n/w same as a chain ring but the chain will go on. Makes a rayte noise when you do.

Just put 12spd xtr shifter and mech on mine, replaced sram gx and it’s works massively better than the sram on the sram cassette
