where are you starting from and at what time?

i have a mazda 6 diesel and have exactly the same problem at service time. is your dpf light flashing or on all the time?

ive also heard that the dpf light starts flashing on mazda 6 diesels when the service is due and is reset when you take it back to mazda.

The DPF light is off and then starts flashing, at no time is it on all the time.

The first time it happened was a few months after I’d had it serviced at a indy garage.

Both times were roughly about when a service was due, this and the fact there was no noticable difference in the way the car was running makes me suspect it may be a fleecing exercise, but if the manual says get it to a dealer ASAP and the internet forums are full of people who have lost engines, what do u do?

In some cases they go better than this and get the brand to write their own reviews, a la dave hinde bikes in cycling weekly

It looks exactly like a CW review with the exception that in tiny letters in one corner it says “advertorial”, what ever that means.

I wrote to CW asking them if it was a review or an adevrt, they didn’t reply. Dave Hinde do however have a full page advert in most copies of CW I buy.

the boardman range looks realy good to me, especially for the £.

I had to resist very hard buying a pro carbon road bike this year. The only issue is how well they are assembled by Halfords, but thats not a show stopper.

So far the investigation has uncovered no evidence of any breach

do you not consider the many many people on here who have issues seemingly as a direct result of giving you their custom as evidence?

Andy – thanks very much for taking the time to type that out, apprecaite it.

I know what my rigid frame bikes are made from as it is one key component of the ride. For example, a mate has inbreds in cro-mo and 753, the latter feels a bit nicer.

    >Do you know/worry about which series aluminium your frame/components are made from?

No. But I know what steel and Ti my frames are made from.

ROSPA support the change and estimate it will save over 100 lives per year

Less cost to the NHS due to health benifts of increased daylight leisure time

I absolutely hate it when the clock change in Oct, the weather is getting worse and nights getting darker, wht compound the misery by changing the clocks.

A rare good move by the ConDem government IMO

To use a painfully obvious and seasonally appropriate example, Christ had a choice, he could have just left everyone to it and been a happy carpenter. But, he made a choice – which was also a sacrifice.

is that from the Fast Show??

not great at this time of year when stuck in the house, no day light and takes 3 weeks to get to work and back.

    stay off the booze

try and do a bit less

    exercise/sleep

try not to think about being stressed to much, otherwise you’ll get even more stressed. also try and go all bhudist and think about other people more. If u think, “I’m fed up but I’ll try and make everyone else feel better”, that makes u feel a bit less self focused and happier

A couple of months ago I was driving down to the north peaks to meet up for a STW ride.

Turning right at some lights I very nearly knocked a cyclist off. He was dressed completely in black and was completely invisible to me due to the low sun. I wound the window down and actualy said “sorry mate i didn’t see you”. Then I just thought ****, I’m in the CTC and they have a campaign with exactly that slogan, I ride on the road at least once a week and am always super cautious around cyclists when I drive, and even then I almost whiped this guy out.

Thankfully I didn’t hit him but it has made me very uneasy about riding on the road in low sun conditions and actually made me think if it’s just too risky.

we are all different, some people seem like complete cocks who don’t give a crap about anyone else and must go through life terribly unhappy due to the masses of self centered venom pumping around their system. You can’t change people though, so u either get very wound up, or just leave them to it.

on a side note about the snow, I find it amazing the number of people in 4x4s that get themselves in trouble becuase they seem to think they can drive as if the snow does not exist because the car is 4 wheel drive.

    good on the students

I think anyone who is unhappy about the fees/university funding and the other cuts to, just off the top of my head, coastal defences, child benefit, child trust funds, NHS, school sports, childrens centres and also lending to the irish while letting vodaphone off with the tax bill and selling off FC land, should join them.

it’s golf type clothing that some 55 year old boden clad fat bloke who runs an office would consider acceptable

    try…

Chinos, deck shoes and a nice polo shirt

but drape a cricket jumper over your shoulders to complete the look.

I have a mazda 6, now 4 years old and while OK, the paint work is sub standard and not suitable for UK weather. Loads of stone chips and now pitting along the roof, some rust.

we went to flow with our daughter when she was just 1, in fact she had her 1st birthday there. It all worked very well and they even did her seperate meals. I would suggest just dropping them a line to ask about it. Chalet is fine and def somewhere you would be happy to take a family.

while I agree something urgently needs to be done to improve the economic situation, IMO much of what is currently happening seems excessive, rash and for ideological reasons.

I honestly can’t believe some of the **** that’s happening and the number/scale of election pledges being broken. I just find myself willing large scale civil unrest.

buy a sheet of reward stickers – sounds simple, but if he gets one of those by staying in bed it really could work.

and if you don’t have it already, a stair gate on their bedroom door to prevent any escapes until u are ready to get up

as Mark Gatiss said “Bald man with rocking-horse face gets engaged to girl!”

IMO The timing is just so hideously sinister.

Massive cuts to police numbers and breaking of pre election pledge on midwife numbers in the last few days, all just about buried and forgotten under this bollocks.

Am I being paranoid or could it really be this orchestrated?
