And you can turn them around on a single carriageway road unlike a V70!

So the bike shop has fitted the headset and the logo is upside down. Has he put the upper and lower stack the wrong way around?

I have a W reg 9-5 2.3 Turbo Aero. Ok not the cheapest on fuel but not that bad either. Bought it for £2500.00 with full service history and then discovered that the cam cover had a design fault which SAAB provided extra warranty on for seven years, but sadly was now finished. Cost £1300.00 for an engine rebuild but not should go on forever. Saabtech in Stevenage sometimes have some for sale, really nice guys and certainly know their stuff.

One last thing, on a sunny day there’s nothing better than planting your foot in the carpet and watching the countryside fly by :)

Once you have a BlackBerry you won’t go back! I’ve got the Bold 9700 and it can do everything you want of it, plus they have the new touch screen BB coming out soon.

I have a Hed-Lock so most likely won’t use the Head Doctor.

So the Hope headset turned up today, looks good! I’ll find out tomorrow if it does the job :)

I have both the DMR ones and the Chameleon ones. The Chameleon ones are better because they stay in place when you take the rear wheel out.

    Hey,

Decided to go for a Hope headset and most likely file the lever down.

    Thanks for the replies.

Hey, thanks for all the replies. I’d kinda made my mind up on the Hope anyway. Good to hear that people have got on OK with them though as there are some negative reviews on CRC.

Regarding the extra 1.3mm and as to whether it will make any difference, I thought size always made a differnce :)

    Hey,

I looked on the Hope site and couldn’t get any info. Do you have a link?

    Thanks

Good call on the Plus 5, but the reviews on the seals are not so good. Some people talking of a high baseplate/crown race. Anyone know where to get these?

    Hey,

Is that the standard Hope crown race or an extra large one? If so where did you find it?

    Thanks

    Hey,

Can you put spaces under the crown race? I’ve just taken the lever off and it goes under the frame ok. I would prefer to be able to leave it on though as otherwise I can’t turn the ETA on.

    Thanks

I’m not sure how many would actually try to apprehend thieves at all regardless of whether they have a baseball bat or maglite under their bed. Honestly…?

Oh come on! Having 245 horse’s in an understated estate to wind up the BMW and Audi reps is perfect! SAAB’s not Rob Warner :) Still remember him from the MBUK chainspotting video doing not very impressive trails…

Guess I should search before posting :) Aside from being jealous over the available cash on hand for some funky kit I thought the chap was a bit of a bore…reminded me of Ray Mears

Spud do you think you will move on from the Cnoc 14 soon? If so I am trying to find one for my three year old.

Mate I used to do lead roofing for 14 years and it was only on conservation jobs that anyone went to that extent. The flashing was screwed into the joint, bitumen applied and then pointed with stone mix.

For the most part we would either used specific lead sealant, or 3 parts sand to one part cement with a good amount of PVA.

Take a look at the pictures on the bottom of this page to see the end result.

I've not found Saab spares any more expensive the Peugeot. I had a little 206 and now have a Saab 95. The boot is huge but not quite as large as the Volvo V70. The Saab does have better rear seat leg room than the Volvo though.

Saab 2.3 turbo = More fun on the way to the trails! Watch out for the speed guns in Wales though :(

If you do decide to go for a Volvo make sure the oil used is fully synthetic as mineral tends to gunge up the engines.

    Get yourself a Saab 95 Estate. I got a W reg Aero for £2,500.00 :)
