Getting the final blocks in was tricky as the snow had started to crystallize and wasn’t bonding that well, that said I’m quite pleased with it.

Plus 26″ wheels were a bit too large for those transitions (is what I tell myself!)

Too be fair these ramps seemed to have a skate deck type texture on them. I can’t say what it is as i’ve not seen them sans snow. Quite grippy though

And try to pick up on what areas the interview panel are looking for. I find that it always pays to come back to or acknowledge points made by the interviewer, although doing so respectfully and being careful not to be over familiar.

Used to ride a medium Planet X Jack Flash which always felt good but slightly too big. Recently bought a pre EEB small Chameleon and it’s fantastic, just rolls over stuff that I would have got bogged down in on the Jack Flash.

I always say thank you if a walker stands to one side to let me past. I don’t see any reason why a bell would be just as good. I think as long as it’s a friendly ‘ting ting’ :)

I had the same issue with some Bombers with an ETA lever. I used an angle grinder and took some of the thickness off the lever and now it clears perfectly!

The inside will likely be some kind of block rather than brick. Unless it’s a three story house I would expect it to be a thermolite block which are fairly soft.

Will the internal and external bricks be aligned?

I don’t know how many brickies you know but I don’t suppose too many are bothered about lining up internal and external walls. Lean up against a wall and look up and see how many of the perps line up!

If you have access to an SDS drill you can hire diamond hole cutters that correlate to a half brick size. If you get one with a long enough shank you will be able to drill through both walls in one go. To drill out a brick sized hole simply drill two side by side and if necessary square the edges off with a hammer and a cold chisel.
