RR Hucknall by any chance Mikkel ?

Mr Blobby, Lots of electrical magic boxes 😀 , thrown in with some no fear piloting.
Ali pushes the boundaries more than most (but owning the uk largest Hobby store chain helps),but he does get it wrong sometimes

Pilot error, pushing the stick up whilst inverted, nearly 20k lost.

    😀

It broke my heart when my father sold it, but Richard Scarborough (the pilot- a close family friend) is one of the best pilots in the Uk, he definitely flies it well.

Some more for you, Ali is THE worlds best pilot in my opinion.

I was there when Gordon lost the B52 above, it was a sad day, but down to pilot error and severe misjudgement as he was way out of the airfield.
(the problem with such large models is judging just how far out you are)

It brought a lot of tightening up on regulations by the BMFA and LMA.

Just a few photo’s to give you an idea how big some of these models can get.

Yes, jets have real turbines. in the uk usually Wren or Jetcats.
This L39 was built by my Father who then decided to sell it 🙄

Yep all models, the white T45 and the F16 are both worth over 10K each (not my Father’s !) he does have 4 large jets though.
He is sid to be one of the leading scale builders of WW2 models in the uk though (he has 12 in the shed.)

This is his latest big model on its maiden flight.

    My kind of thread.

My Father has 55 years model flying under his belt and has a garage full of planes and Helicopters, including several of the above.
I also take the photo’s for various rc magazines and also my own website.

Had to turn over from Radio 1 today, Zane bored me, then i made the mistake of turning back to discover Nick Grimshaw on.

How dull is Grimshaw, what a k*ob, i would rather sing to myself than listen to him.

Bring back Moyles , Cotton, James and Mills to help me pass my day

I’m on my second New shape Galaxy, the first one was faultless covering 140K+ in 26 months, only needing a clutch at 120k (It is a work vehicle carrying heavy loads daily)

The second one now has 40k on it, and it has had new clutch, gearbox and loads of other things!

They are the same car as the Smax (we also use them on our fleet) and they are rapid enough, comfortable and nice to drive.

We are now replacing the Fords (due to clutch issues on most of the newer fleet, below 60k!)with the new VW Sharans, which i hope were better than the previous vw’s we ran a few year ago.

My boss is pretty good, we had one of our service tech’s get stuck in the snow and he told him to check into the nearest hotel/BB on our company credit cards, he was told get want you need.

He was paid his standard salary, but was also given a bonus payment of £100 for the hassle.

I don’t think they have to pay you though.

+1 for an alligator in Florida.
Also came across an 8ft Gator on the doorstep of the pizza shop in a torrential rainstorm, they use the stormdrains to move around and it must have popped up out of the wrong one.(i retreated back into he shop pretty quickly!)

Pacemaker; please tell me those’r your kids!!!!!

No there not mine, but i have identical twin boys who helped decorate there room one night while we were asleep, luckily the carpet was up as they had got the lid off the tin of paint and the footprints led back to there beds. 👿

OP, if the wall/ doors are any sort of glossy surface, try colouring over pen with dry wipe marker, then wiping it.

We used to get graffiti of vending machines by doing that. 😀

Can you buy those big planes ready made?

    Unfortunately not. 😀

The C17 has just sold second hand for £25k,all the big stuff (over 20kg) has to pass CAA airworthy checks and the pilots need to pass LMA proficiency.(which means having years of experience flying smaller stuff)

The guy who is flying the C17 in the photo is the uk top show pilot (who also owns a large hobby shop chain).

Have a look at my website here[/url] for more r/c flying photo’s

A bit of practise and you could do this with a heli.

If you have a bit of spare cash you could buy this…

Don’t start with 2 liners if you definitely want to buggy, go straight to a small 4 line. BUT DON’T BUY A BUGGY STRAIGHT AWAY!
The “other” set of lines are brakes, which when buggying help you move the kite up and down the window to help build up speed fast.
In buggy’s you have less room to move your arms so you use the brake line to brake one end of the kite to turn, this takes some getting used to but if you start flying and use the brakes in the begining,it makes flying whilst buggying second nature.

It is more expensive than bikes and eventually if the bug gets you you will end up with something like this.

I have been buggying for 8 years now, and the feeling of blasting along at 50mph+, 4″ off the beach using your feet to steer really gets the adrenalin going.

    You are so dead……

Not too worried, most Calderdale residents have never left there postcode area, pretty sure you would be truly lost by the time you got to Bradford, so would turn round and go home…. 😆 😯

( And you couldn’t use sat nav as your “‘oss” has no 12v supply.) 😮
