Pulled into a McD's drivethru for a coffe:-
    "white coffee please"
"sorry weve no white coffee, but I can do you a black with milk"
    "EH?" [/quote]

That would be because they are busy, the milk in the coffee machine has just been refilled and dropped below the safe dispensing temperature for heated milk.
So to get around this they use their brains and offer black coffee with cold milk.

    How do i know this?
I am a service tech for the company who supply all the above mentioned companies and a lot more with there espresso equipment.

Working in various coffee outlets fixing makes you realise just how rude some customers are, if the machine is broken why swear at the person who can't give you your coffee? it's not their fault!

It was at the Large Model Association event at Cosford yesterday.
The late Patron of the LMA who died late last year was a Vulcan pilot so it has graced a lot of LMA shows.

The guy to contact is Maurice Hammond, he has 3 privately owned p51.
We come across Maurice quite a bit on the R/C aircraft display scene and quite often get to have a play in the P51's

He does take people up for a price.
I know he fly's from Hardwick, i havn't any contact details but i know someone who has.
Give me a few days and i will PM you.

Hi John, I hear through the LMA, that the Vulcan has been grounded due to not having a 2009 show permit?.
Glad to hear you had a good day, we had hardly any traffic on the way to Silverstone for the Renault world series.

    Stu.

Spray back to black silicone type cleaned on his windscreen wipers, you don’t notice it’s there until its too late and you have used them.

You can’t clean it off, and its a real t*at when it mixes with water..

Tell them you have started working unsocial hours, you now sleep at random times so can they email you there views, and possibly the pdf file of the latest watch tower.
Then pick some random STW’er’s email address and give it to them…
    (not mine though please!)

My Canon 70-200 f2.8 L IS is my favourite, my 100-400L IS is a good lens, but the push pull zoom seems to cause sensor dust.

But the 50 1.8 for the money is great!

My games teacher at Middle school was Sir Ian Mcgeechan the ex scottish international and British Lions coach.

Suprisingly we had the best rugby team in the region and were unbeaten for 3 seasons.

My son is in the same class as Gaynor Faye (off Corrie years ago and dancing on ice) daughter.

Bimbler, it was me that said about gearboxes….

We had 40 Touran’s on our fleet at work, 38 had new gearboxes!! One had had 3!!
We don’t drive them particularly hard and only carry parts for commercial espresso machines.

They have been replace by new shape Ford Galaxy’s, S max’s and a few C max’s (80 cars in total!) Not one has had major problems, my Galaxy is about to be replaced as it has done 87’000 in 20 months.

Daughter got her first choice of Boston Spa which is great as all her mates from Thorner primary are going there.
Some of the older girls from her gymnastics club go there too.

I got the daughter (11) a contract phone on 3, £9 a month (Which i made the maximum amount!)
With that she gets 100 mins or texts to any network and 2300 minutes to other 3 phones (me and my mrs are also on 3 and get 2300 free 3 to 3 mins)

She can’t run up huge bills and got a resonable Sony Erricson phone with it.

If she was on PAYG we would to up a minimum £10 a month and she may run out of credit.

Dont contact him, this then gives him the opportunity to go to the police and report it.
If you contact the police and he hasn’t contacted them then he is in the shit..!

You do not have to give your details at the scene of an accident( appart from to a police officer), but if you don’t you do have to report it to the police within 24 hours.

Maplin were doing the better 3 channel picco for £15 the other week, for what you get (a bit of fun toy) it was pretty stable, the original picco z were ok for a bit of fun (its a toy, not a rc heli!)

If you want to see some r/c heli’s (like john’s Hawk 30 and bigger) have a look at my website.

No reason not to go for the honeybee, cracking heli, i have a honeybee king 2 and also a belt cp. Both cracking heli’s and as much fun as my raptor 90 or trex 600.!
A simulator is also ok for the basic’s most people find but i couldnt get on with them.

The picco-z’s are great little indoor heli’s and you can pick em up for about a tenner now.

    Fastlad

I wouldnt recomend the maplin’s toys, have a look at the link, fastlad are a Heli only shop with a great reputation and any of the esky heli’s are well supported with spares.
I have 2 3d ready esky’s as well as top of the range nitro heli’s and the cheap esky’s are great fun as well as great for beginners.
    Any help needed just ask.

Have driven all 3 both on and off road, the Ranger is by the best of the 3 off road (But its definately not a land rover)
The Navara is the best on road, but has serious reliability problems with engines (That what you get for associating with Renault!!)

As an all rounder the L200 does what most people will need. (the old one was better than the new one off road)

What would i buy? the new Ranger Thunder as you can get great deals on them (looking at one for the mrs)

Yep , i can also say defrosting on, but i only ever use the voice commands on my galaxy for dialling on the phone from the memory( but use the radio panel for dialling numbers!) the rest is just over kill!!

It is kind of cool to set the diesel pre heat but i always forget to set what time i want it to come on!

We used to run VW’s (touran’s and Sharan’s) at work, out of 42 only 2 managed to get to hundred thou miles with there original gearbox, some made it to there third!

We now run Fords (new shape Galaxy’s and Smax’s)
We have had NO major problems with any, mine has done 85’000 in 18 months and the only problem the seat back table support broke (probably my 4 year olds fault) but was replaced under warranty!

My new Galaxy has been ordered for 100,000 is approaching fast!!
